    Swamp Stomper Adventure Race (2-4 Hour Adventure Race): 3-Person Teams or Pot-Luck Teams willbe challenged on a marked course by 9-14 miles mountain biking, 2-4 miles trail running, and 3-6 milescanoeing. Race will last 2-4 hours.

    All category winners will be awarded according to Field Depth. Prizes include OMOD Gear, gift cards,vouchers, and Sponsor donations.

    From I-55, take exit 243-A in Batesville, MS and travel 21 miles east o MS Highway 6 towards Oxford, MS.Turn left at West Oxford exit onto West J ackson Avenue and travel approximately 3 miles. Turn left onto MShighway 314 and travel Approximately 13 miles to Clear Creek Recreation Area. Follow signs for parking.

    Class A Camping - Amenities: A waterborne toilet/showers, water/electrical hookups, and sanitarydisposal station$10 per night, first come/first served unless reserved through the NationalRecreation Reservation System (1-800-444-6777 or www.recreation.gov

    Class D Camping - Amenities: A portable toilet, tent pad, table and grill provided.

    Free camping. First come/first served only.

    REGISTRATION:

    Team Registration: Teams must consist of three participants, at least one of which is of the oppositegender (ex. 2 males and 1 female).

    Individual Registration: You may sign up without a team to participate. Participants who sign-up under anindividual registration will be assigned a team prior to race day. If we are unable to provide you with a teamunder the race requirements you may still participate as an all male/female team or as a 2 person,coed/male/female team. Individuals who register early will be notified of their team assignments by April 8,2011. Individual registration closes April 8, 2011.

    TRANSITION AREA:

    There will be a central transition area where teams can set up. During the race, the teams will pass throughthis area several times making it possible to reload on food, water, change clothes, etc. There are severallegs in this race including mountain biking, trail running and paddling. There are no water stations along thecourse. Teammates must remain in visual contact with each other at all times. Teams will be provided withcourse maps & will be required to navigate to the respective check points during the race. The entire coursewill be marked for all race legs. The paddling is on a lake. If a team member drops out the remaining teammembers may continue as an unofficial team.
