• KMG International is fully owned by the National Oil & Gas Company of Kazakhstan – KazMunayGas, being one of the
well-established oil groups operating in Romania and an important player in the Black Sea and Mediterranean regions.

Refining and Petrochemicals
Petromidia Refinery ► The biggest in Romania • Located on the Black Sea shore, the most modern refinery in Romania
accounts for more than 40% of the actual refining capacity of the country. The designed processing capacity is over 5 million tons/year.
• Processed the record quantity of crude in Romania of 100 million tonnes (1979 – 2014) and around 5 million tonnes in 2015.
• Ranked 8th in 2014 among 250 refineries in Europe, CIS countries and Africa and first in Romania for flexibility and complexity (Wood Mackenzie).
Vega Refinery ► Alternative types of raw materials • Processes naphtha, heavy hydrocarbons, heating oil and provides a large
variety of solvents, bitumen, hexane, white spirit, fuel oil and other special products.
• In 2015 Vega refinery processed over 330 thousand tonnes of feedstock, which is 7% more compared to the previous year.
Petrochemical Complex ► The sole producer of polymers in Romania
• Integrated within the Petromidia refinery, has an annual production capacity of 220,000 tonnes. The complex produces polypropylene, low density polyethylene and high density polyethylene.

Trading and Logistics
Midia Marine Terminal ► 24 million tonnes / year capacity
• Secures the presence of KMG International and KMG in the geographic arch that connects the Caspian Sea (Kazakhstan, Georgia), the Black Sea (Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria) and Western Europe (France and Spain).
• Operates the crude oil maritime terminal of the Group and also its berths no.1-4 and no.9 in the Midia port.
Byron Shipping ► Full services shipping agency
• Active in both Midia and Constanta Port, providing significant support for the trading and supply chain activities of the Group for over 14 years.
• Coordinates the activity of around 550 ships/year in Midia and Constanta Port.
KMG Trading ► The sole operator of all crude supplies of KMG• Established in 2004 with the headquarters in Lugano, Switzerland.
• Manages the petroleum products stocks in the refining and retail divisions, including sales of fuel to the Group’s subsidiaries (Bulgaria, Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine, France and Spain), as well as to the third parties in the Black Sea region.
• Responsible for the development of the logistics required for (i) its own needs, (ii) development of commercial operations, and (iii) access to new markets.

The retail segment is one of the core activities of the Group. In Europe, KMG International has over 1,000 distribution points in 6 countries (Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Georgia, France and Spain), operated under “Rompetrol” and “Dyneff” brands.
A new concept of service stations was launched in 2013, combining a premium design with the best technical solutions; over 120 Rompetrol service stations from Romania were rebranded till the end of 2015.
This concept was introduced also in Moldova and Georgia, where the entire distribution network will be rebranded.
Efix – the first fuel brand, which ensures real engine protection.
Fill&Go – the first ‘pay-at-pump’ service available exclusively from Rompetrol.
