• Scariest moment was when plane crashed in Yugoslavia

• Dressed in traditional garb to cross border into Afghanistan– Had to sew film into clothing to get it home

• Most famous photo is “Afghan Girl”– Escaped from refugee camp in Pakistan– Only 13 years old

• Favorite place to go abroad is Asia
