1. Worship
Psalm 29:2Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in the splendour of his holiness.
Psalm 81:9You shall have no foreign god among you;
you shall not worship any god other than me.
Matthew 15:9They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.
Revelations 14:7Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea
and the springs of water.
2. Fellowship
1 Corinthians 1:9God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship
with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
2 Corinthians 6:14Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
1 John 1:7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we
have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
3. Praying
Mark 11:25And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father
in heaven may forgive you your sins.
Luke 2:37and then was a widow until she was eighty-
four. She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying.
John 17:9I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but
for those you have given me, for they are yours.
2 Corinthians 7:1Therefore, since we have these promises, dear
friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness
out of reverence for God.
4. Religion
1 Timothy 5:4But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these
should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their
parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God.
James 1:26Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive
themselves, and their religion is worthless.
James 1:27Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being
polluted by the world.
