Stepping Into Internship Program - Position Description The Australian Network on Disability’s Stepping Into program is a paid internship scheme that matches talented university students with disability with roles in leading Australian businesses. Position Title NSW Department of Customer Service - Social Impact & Frontline Engagement Intern Location Sydney Position Duration Minimum 152 hours Position Overview Social Impact & Frontline Engagement The Social Impact and Frontline Engagement team work on an Engagement Plan for our frontline customer facing teams, this may include initiatives such as; an intern program where we recruit people from vulnerable communities to have an employment opportunity at Service NSW, this includes refugees, women effected by domestic violence and or homelessness. The team also is currently working on a cultural program which will be rolled out for various diverse groups such as Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander, disability and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse. It would be great to have someone whom is passionate about social issues and can think outside of the box to contribute to making our organisation a safe and inclusive working environment. At times we also work on events (this can include staff planning days or charity driven events like drought relief) given the current environment our events are being hosted virtually. A large proportion of our team also consisted of Training & Development, so a group of training specialists roll out Service NSW specific training to the frontline.
