Position Overview

The Incident Management Operations business unit are looking for an intern to join their team that is:

Technically literate

Eager to learn new technologies

Comfortable with critical thinking

Any Agile project experience would be advantageous.

The Network / Software Engineering Intern is responsible for facilitating improvement in operational practices across Incident Management Operations and preparing the business for the future. Skills should include programming/scripting, testing, integration, coding, software development, machine learning.

Must be able to:

Translate customer (internal, external or regulatory) needs and requirements into customer wireframes and mock-ups using agile software development principles

Assess platform operating system and application software upgrades and maintenance releases to contribute to the formulation of implementation plans

Provide specialist expertise and consultancy in platform performance analysis and escalated fault finding and resolution
