Note areas where heating panels NOT required. EXAMPLES: under permanent fixtures such as bathroom fittings/ cupboards. Do NOT install heating panels here. Use plain panels for these non-heated sections. Step 2 Lay panels SAFETY NOTE: Wear protective gloves when cutting or handling cut Low-Build panels. Lay panels with integral loop endreturns against wall at each end of room: manifold end and opposite end. Fill remaining space in-between with panels and continue until floor space is covered. Ensure machined channels match up with channels in adjacent sections. Measure and mark panels that need to be cut to length: de-burr foil sharp edges after cutting. NOTE: Separate channel panels are available if necessary. CUTTING TIP: Use utility knife to trim Low-Build 15 to required size. Step 3 Place pipe Remove Wavin cutter, strip off blue wrap from 10mm pipe reel, and find pipe end from centre of reel. Leave tail long enough to reach manifold. Feed pipe into channels, pressing down firmly. PIPE PLACEMENT TIP: Use hands to place pipe around turns – and press pipe in by foot along straight runs. Where pipe tails are below manifold location, clip each pipe into a curved pipe support. Step 4 Completion/ Commissioning Install the manifold and connect pipe circuit(s) (see separate guide). For areas > 26m2, balance system. Fill and flush system. Pressure test manifold and connected circuit(s) in the installed system. Lay floor deck. Install controls and set up thermostat(s).
