sketchbook! (15 minutes) •Do you consider stencil/stamp graffiti to be art? Why/why not? •Does the location they choose to stencil effect the message they are trying to spread?

• Do you think it is ok for graffiti artists to paint their artwork on places such as buildings that do not belong to them? Why/why not?

Your Task

•Using your theme as inspiration, develop a message that you would like to spread through the use of stencil or stamp art.

•Since color is limited in this kind of artwork be sure to carefully consider the colors you will use.

•Although we will NOT be stenciling or stamping our artwork on public or private property you should still think of locations that would best suit your message and locations that would not.
