The EWIB’s On-The-Job Training programs provide incentives for employers in the form of wage reimbursements that may help you get hired. Depending on the OJT Program, to qualify, you must be a CT resident, and: Unemployed (long term 27+ weeks) AND/OR Attended a Dept. of Labor Enhanced Re-employment Session (ERS) AND/OR A Certified Dislocated Worker Once you are pre-qualified for eligibility in the OJT Program, let employers know they may qualify for 50% to 90% reimbursement of your wages while you train on the job for an average of 16 weeks.
