OUR GOAL
Enhance STEM education by modifying methods of teaching while keeping up with the standards of education, and improving students’ abilities to think critically and creatively.
As a subsystem we’ve come up with ways to associate the software to the hands-on activities that the students will be required to complete during the STEM HOUSE program.

EVALUATION
As a whole, it was decided that the STEM HOUSE will be comprised of a virtual learning experience as well as a practical hands-on approach. Therefore, the possibilities to use methods other than software were not applicable.
As far as the teaching preparation goes, regardless of what method is chosen, identical resources and time consumption is necessary.

EVALUATION OF INSTRUCTIONAL METHODOLOGY
Based on our evaluation matrix, the option we have selected to use is the option where teachers supervise the students while using the software, as well as assist with the physical aspects, like the panels.

CONCLUSION
Goals Revisited:
• Enhance STEM Learning
• The combination of instruction by teachers, software, and physical components will motivate the students to think deeper about certain subjects and allows them to gain a greater understanding of the material required by the state standards.
• Promote Creative and Critical Thinking
• The software combined with the panels allow the students to have more freedom to explore the possibilities that both have to offer. The software, specifically, will ask more conceptual questions about topics to ensure that students are not just learning at a knowledge level, but are able to apply that knowledge.
