KnockOut ™ Serum Replacement Gold for -ESC and iPSC cultures
KnockOut™ Serum Replacement (KnockOut™ SR) is a defined, serum-free formulation used to support the growth of undifferentiated ES and iPS in culture. ES and iPS cells grown in KnockOut™ SR-supplemented media are substantially less differentiated than those grown in FBS-supplemented media, and germline transmission is not compromised in the least. The performance of KnockOut™ SR is further enhanced when used in conjunction with KnockOut™ DMEM, a special basal medium designed specifically for ES and iPS cell culture.

iPSC Reprogramming Tools
CytoTune®–iPS 2.0 Sendai Reprogramming Kit
The CytoTune®-iPS 2.0 kit utilizes a non-integrating Sendai virusparticles to deliver the Yamanaka factors and is extremely easy to use, requiring only one overnight incubation compared to the multiple days of transductions required for mRNA reprogramming. Sendai reprogramming vectors do not integrate into chromosomes of the target cells and therefore do notpotentially disrupt important genes. They are capable of transducing a wide range of cell types such as BJ fibroblasts, PBMCs, and CD34+ blood cells.
Epi5™ Episomal iPSC Reprogramming Kit
The Epi5™ Episomal iPSC Reprogramming Kit provides an easy-to-use, highly efficient set of 5 episomal vectors designed by Dr. Okita in the laboratory of Professor Yamanaka at the Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA), Kyoto University. This system produces transgene-free, virus-free human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) with efficiencies in the range of 0.04% to 0.3%, depending upon the cell type being reprogrammed. Lipofectamine® 3000 reagent with the Epi5™ Episomal iPSC Reprogramming Kit enables highly efficient reprogramming of somatic cells without the need for electroporation.

StemPro® NSC SFM is a serum-free medium (SFM) specially formulated for the growth and expansion of human neural stem cells (NSCs). It enables superior human NSC expansion of both adherent and spheroid cultures derived from human embryonic stem cells or fetal tissue compared to existing commercial products. StemPro® NSC SFM also maintains the multipotential differentiation capability into astrocytes, oligodendrocytes and neurons.
Life Technologies™ provides a comprehensive set of tools for isolation, expansion, differentiation, and characterization of HSCs and their derivatives. CD34 is a common marker for identifying human HSCs, and Life Technologies™ offers a serum-free medium for CD34+ cells, as well as methods to isolate CD34+ cells from blood or bone marrow.
