Board of Directors to compile a list of candidates for the election.

Candidates so submitted by the nominating committee will be presented to the com-munity for a vote prior to September 30, 2015. The deadline for nominations for the 4 open positions will be September 9th, 2015 at 3pm. There are three three year positions and one two year position open.

You can nominate yourself. Please submit a ½ page biographical sketch (typewritten) for publication in the September issue of the Steeple Run Views to the nominating committee in care of the Clubhouse Manager, Phoebe Ruffin, at the clubhouse. The clubhouse is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am – 3pm, Thurdays from 6pm - 8pm, and Saturdays from 9am - noon. In the event that there are four or less nomina-tions, the Board may appoint Directors pursuant to the Covenants and By-Laws in lieu of elections. The nominations must be typed; include an original signature, and be submitted to the clubhouse manager in person during posted office hours. All submittals shall be posted for acceptance. There will be no acceptance of submittals sent via e-mail, U.S. Postal Service or items left in drop box.

Please include whether you are nominating yourself for a two year or three year term, and bring a photo ID when dropping off nomination letter.

In the event that your nomination should not be accepted, the By-Laws further state, “The Board of Directors shall also present, for a vote, any name of any member of the community who wishes to be a candidate and who submits a petition to the board signed by not less than twenty-five percent of the owners eligible to vote at any elec-tion held for the vacancy for which the name has been submitted.”
