Lighting Do not use flash photography. Lighting is very important in a steampunk shoot and should be controlled. Should be:•Natural•Continuous

The subject Keep clothing, make-up, props to a minimum

as to not over power the model. If there are a lot of props, try shooting in

black and white. This will fade out excess props around the subject.

The ShootKeep emphasis on the face of your

model when shooting detailed portraits.

Do not be afraid to experiment with light and shadow. It will make your photos more interesting and steampunk.

Pay attention to detail.

Fin. Steampunk encompasses a world of pure imagination and that needs to be shown in it’s photography.
