STEAMED CHICKEN
I just want to share you this recipe that I wish you might want to try. This consist of chicken topped with sliced onions and finely sliced ginger with sliced onion springs.How can you go wrong when all you have to do is to follow the following instructions:
Note however that I did not provide any measurement for this.. I am just laying out the guidelines,it all depends now on you on how you adjust your ingredients.
Ingredients :
Chicken Thighs/ Drumstick or whole chicken
Butter
Ground Pepper
Salt
Finely Sliced Onions
Finely Sliced Ginger
Vegetable Oil (if you have Olive oil why not)
Chopped Spring Onions
Sauce :
Calamansi Juice
Soy Sauce
Red Chillies (Labuyo)
Procedure :
Rub the chicken with salt and pepper, and put butter under its skin. Let it sit for 30 minutes or 1 hour.
In a separate frying pan,pour in a little amount of vegetable oil .Saute Onion and Garlic. Once the Onion has caramelized, add the spring onions, let it sit for a while.
Using your steamer or any improvised steamer, steam your chicken for 30 - 45 minutes or until the chicken is done.
On a plate, put your steamed chicken, put the sauteed onions,ginger and spring onions on top of it.
