Neoprene or polychloroprene is a family of synthetic rubbers that are produced by polymerization of chlo-roprene. It is used in a wide variety of environments, such as in wetsuits, laptop sleeves, electrical insulation, and car fan belts. It provides excellent insulation against cold and guards against abrasions like few materials do.

Naugahyde is a well known and es-tablished brand of artificial leather, made from vinyl polymer coated plastic. Its name comes from the city of Naugatuck, Connecticut, where it was first produced.

Vinyl polymers are a group of poly-mers derived from vinyl monomers. In popular usage, “vinyl” refers only to PVC. Vinyl polymers are the most common type of plastic.

Carbon fiber or carbon fibre (also sometimes called graphite fiber) is a material consisting of long thin sheets of graphite-like carbon, packed to form a fiber. It is commonly used in composite materials such as carbon fiber reinforced plastic (which is often also called carbon fiber). It has the highest specific tensile strength of all the reinforced materials (composite materials), and it has a high strength to weight ratio and low coefficient of thermal expansion.

Pudgee (Visco Elastic Foam) was originally developed for NASA, and it has been used with great effective-ness for over 20 years in the medical industry. This revolutionary heat and pressure sensitive foam protects sensi-tive skin, absorbs moisture and vibra-tions, improves blood circulation, and relieves skin tension.
