FAQs and Best PracticesShould I install the Zoom app or use the web browser option?

- If your company security allows, we highly recommend installing the Zoom application.

- Here’s a link to the Zoom Download Center: https://trialgraphix.zoom.us/download

Can I join using my mobile devices?

- We recommend that you use a desktop or laptop. Some devices, such as Chromebooks & iPads, limit the ability of participants to view, share screens, and operate in breakout rooms.

Does my internet speed affect the performance for others?

- No, but we recommend only using high-speed internet as lesser speeds may affect your viewing and cause audio problems while you are speaking.

Can I join and leave the meeting as needed?

- While it is possible to join and leave as necessary, the judge or arbitrators may restrict such access. Each court has its own preferences.

What do I need to think about regarding my laptop?

- Disconnect from any VPN or remote desktop (e.g. Citrix) before joining Zoom meeting

- Use of a wired headset is highly recommended.

- Make sure your device is plugged into an outlet.

- Turn off notifications on your computer (such as e-mail and calendar reminders).

What do I need to think about regarding my environment?

- Find a quiet place with a strong Wi-Fi signal.

- Do your best to have good lighting (avoid backlighting).

- Check your background to make sure nothing distracting or personal can be seen or use a virtual background.

How do I contact host support during the exercise?

- Use the support contact information on the cover of this guide.

Operating in Your Meeting: Breakout Rooms

Breakout rooms are private sessions that are split from the main Zoom meeting. They allow participants to meet in smaller groups. Full audio, video, and screen share capabilities exist only with those individuals in your breakout room.A TrialGraphix host will initiate the breakout rooms and close them at the end of each break.

Joining a breakout room

The host will need to invite you to join the breakout roomClick Join to enter your breakout room

Leaving the breakout room

The breakout room sessions will be ended by the main host based on the schedule. When this happens, every breakout room participant will be notified with a 1-2-minute warning.

You may initiate your own leaving by clicking the “Leave Breakout Room” link on your toolbar.

Be mindful not to click the “Leave Meeting” button or you will accidentally exit the entire session and will need to log back in.

Asking for help

There is an “Ask for Help” button on your toolbar which will invite the main host into your breakout room
