Status of ATF2 Cavity BPM ProjectSep 29, 2005
• Project Scope: Instrument both couplers ATF2 cavity BPM’s (35)
• Produce prototype for December cavity test
• Production complete 31.03.06
• Want full integration into ATF2 control system.
Table 1: System Specifications:
BPM dipole frequency (MHz) 6430
Kick factor (J/C^2/mm^2) 1.3e10
Decay time (ns) 350
Required resolution (single bunch – nm) 100

Hardware Status – Downmix Chassis
• Prototype submitted for printing Sept 29 (CA). • Parts on hand –
– Except limiters (4 to 6 weeks) and power meter– Testing begins Oct 12
• Tests of HOM board (similar)– gain 33dB– Linearity second side band 70dB down at top of range
of -24dBm– Noise figure 5dB– Channel to channel coupling -60dB
• Board designed for machine assembly
