ÖNSÖZ FOREWORD

Toplumun pek çok alanına yönelik resmi istatistiklerin genel çerçeve itibariyle sunulduğu ve ülke profi li hakkındaki özet bilgilere erişim imkanı sağlayan İstatistiklerle Türkiye, Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu (TÜİK) tarafından yayımlanmaktadır.

Turkey in Statistic, in which offi cial statistics related to many aspects of the society are presented generally and which provides immediate access to information regarding country profi le, is being published by Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).

Yayında yer alan bilgiler, yayımlandığı zaman dilimindeki mevcut en son verileri içermektedir. Tablo sonlarında yer alan veri kaynaklarının ise, daha detaylı istatistiklere erişmek isteyen kullanıcılar için iyi bir başlangıç noktası olacağı düşünülmektedir. Bu yayına,http://www.tuik.gov.tr web adresinden de erişmek mümkündür.

Information in the publication covers the most recent data available during the publication period. Data sources given at the last chapter of the publication are assumed to be a good starting point for the users who want to reach more detailed information. AÇIKLAMA EXPLANATION

Kapsam Coverage

İstatistiklerle Türkiye, kullanıcıya üç yıllık bir karşılaştırma olanağı sağlayacak biçimde düzenlenmiştir. Aksi belirtilmedikçe “yıl” takvim yılını göstermektedir. “Mali yıl” ise, 12 ay için söz konusu olup 1 Ocak tarihinde başlar.

The data in Turkey in Statistics are presented in three year period. Unless otherwise stated, “year” refers to the calendar year. Fiscal year refers to the 12 months and begins with January 1st of each year.

Veri Kaynakları Data Sources

Yayında sunulan veriler Türkiye İstatistik Kurumunun sayım ve anketlerinden, ayrıca diğer kuruluşların idari kayıtlarından derlenmektedir. Kaynak verilmeyen tablolardaki bilgiler Kurum tarafından hazırlanmıştır.

Data presented in the publication are compiled from censuses and surveys conducted by the Turkish Statistical Institute and from administrative registers of the other organizations. Tables for which no source is indicated are based on information prepared by TurkStat.
