Statistical Data Engineer Job Responsibilities:
Provides statistical information for quality improvement by evaluating production
and testing data. Evaluate and improve manufacturing quality, performance and
capability. Interact with corporate QA directives and customers concerning quality
and process capability.
Job Description
• Formulate methodology for use of dimensional data for verication for variation
reduction and root cause analysis.
• !emonstrate variation reduction to improve in "i# "igma and Process $apability
in plant level
• Formulate data collection plans for di%erent types of data& utili'e "P$ tools to
analy'e data& translate results of statistical analysis into specic
corrective(preventive actions on the shop )oor
•
Perform !*E studies to quantify the impact of di%erent sources of variation onthe body quality
• Implement process improvements in +ey areas of operations& follow up to ensure
that the improvements are sustained over time
• esearch on new technology and processes to implement in the manufacturing
plants as a direct resolution of e#isting quality or productivity issues
• !eveloping standards and maintaining statistical process control using statistical
tools& provide innovative solutions to minimi'e costs.
• Perform supplier qualications, material issue resolution, drive supplier
corrective actions, perform customer(supplier audits, collect and evaluate
supplier quality data and provide process performance analysis.
• $oordinate with "ales, Purchasing, Engineering, Production and Quality $ontrol
to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
