Demonstration Project – Goals

Staff efficiency improvement with merging of circulation and ILL activities

Request for a lender becomes a hold in the local ILS

Receiving a request by a borrower creates the circulation record and hold for the library patron

Demonstrate that NCIP works with libraries on different ILS systems – no need for single ILS system
