1:37 a.m. Naomie's Testimony of What Happened Through the Night

lfinished talking to you at 11 :00 p.m. You were able to eat some bread and juice and mush. You were thinking about having a soak. You were still in your session. It really hasn't lightened up at all. You were awake until midnight. That is when you went into the bathroom to see if you were going to soak. About 12:20 a.m. you came out. I could tell you were overwhelmed again. You sat in the chair. Your body started to jerk and jolt again and tremble. It is always an amazing experience to watch you go through that, yet Ifeel the peace in it. I just yearn that you will be strengthened. I know the Lord will bless you and guide you and preserve your life. It is such a privilege to pray for you.

You went right unconscious. At 12:30 a.m. you said, "Oh, my. Oh, my. What is happening to me? What is happening?" As you were saying it your body was trembling and you twisted in your chair. You were on your side and you twisted onto your back and your back bowed out of the chair. At 12:40 a.m. you said, "This is amazing. The Lord is just keeping me down. I am yearning to !l19tifFNJttllUI it sl1. Is", 5tl ;rilliH~ ttl tit; 'Hl,S~ plt it takes, whatever it takes. "

You said, "I sure am being warned to be careful with John Nicholson. I haven't heard from that man for awhile. I am being warned to be careful with Davis Roundy. I don't know where he stands, and also Dan Wayman. Those men keep coming to my mind. When a man loses Priesthood, the Spirit of God withdraws from them. Some men the Spirit of God hasn't been in their home for years. Dan Wayman has lost the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God hasn't ben in his home for years. That is why he has struggled so with his children. He has just allowed them to grow up and do whatever they wanted." You sighed and said, "Oh, the cleanup continues. The cleanup continues. Will there be anyone left? "

At 12:55 a.m. you said, "Hello." I said, "Hello. " You said, "Have I ever mentioned Carlos Holm, that I need to be careful with Carlos

Holm?" I don't ever remember you mentioning his name. You said, "His name keeps coming to my mind to be careful with him. "

At 1:05 a.m. you said, "Wow, this is amazing, the pressure and weight Ifeel is just amazing. The Lord is through with the halfhearted and I am through with the halfhearted. Would to God they would just repent and come confessing. The Lord will search them out if they will not. "

At 1: 1 0 a. m. you said, "Without Priesthood, this world would fall apart. These men that I have handled, the people do not realize how close they have come to being cursed, a judgment passed over them. The judgments have already started. " You said that you were also being strongly warned that Lloyd Wall is an enemy to you. He professes loyalty but is holding fee lings and isfearful. You said, "I also question the Priesthood of Jake Jessop, Dan Jessop's son. "

At 1: 15 p. m. you said, "Oh my. What is going to happen? What is going to happen?" At 1:20 a.m. you came to and sat up in your chair. You got in the bed and I went and got you some bread and you took some aspirin. It is now 1:50 a.m.

2:40 a.m. Dictation

At Rl. My last dictation was Thursday morning in Albuquerque at 5 :45 a.m. in the morning. I had been instructed to quietly and suddenly leave R17 Wednesday night. I made contact with Rich Allred, who I had stop in Albuquerque, and he secured a motel room and I drove to Albuquerque and stayed a few hours there. We left Albuquerque around 8:15 a.m., Rich Allred leading out in his vehicle, I driving David Allred's vehicle, with Naomie present. I received phone calls.

Ben Johnson had been to Cortez and had sighted some apostates working there and then felt impressed to drive through Mancos and there he sighted some apostates working on a construction project right at our turn off. Ben Johnson sighted apostates working at the intersection in the town

we tum into RI. I felt strongly warned of the Lord to have our people stay on the land and not leave it until darkness and organize their travels to be other directions as I felt the evil powers had placed those apostates right close to us that we would be discovered. I stopped all radio transmissions and phone calls out until I could arrive.

As I went toward RI, around 11:00 a.m. the heavenly powers took charge of me to where I couldn't drive. I had Naomie drive, and I instructed Rich Allred to go to a certain motel in Durango that I had stayed in and rent some rooms and we would stay there until the Lord's direction otherwise. I went through the heavenly session there, after dedicating the room, and we remained there until after dark. The Lord showed me that I must not drive myself anymore, that the wicked were seeking after me, watching for me, and if I was stopped by a policeman I could easily be taken into custody. Other things were shown me.

lt was my intention to arrive at RI and then go that evening sometime to Short Creek to perform the marriages and perhaps talk in Saturday morning meeting and handle more men. I arrived at Rl after dark. The men, the laborers at Rl were waiting for me, wanted to have dinner when I was there, which I did. I didn't eat with them, but I sat with them giving instructions. me to Short Creek, that we would be leaving between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. in the morning and go in darkness there. I considered leaving at midnight.

I instructed the men that I needed to dry in this home, these log houses, as their priority, when they are back here working and that they had another project at R17 they needed to move to -- they needed to hasten in their work.

I called Short Creek and had Isaac move my wife Shannon away from Ben Johnson's house, her brother's house, over to Jim Allred's house in preparation for me to stay at Ben Johnson's house. I was into the heavenly sessions by 2:00 a.m. in the morning when I was yearning to get up and go. The Lord took charge of me since 2:00 a.m. in the morning early Friday morning until now, 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. in the morning now. I have been through a severe session of atonement and

revelations, twice taken away physically, more than that taken away my spirit from my body, great tremblings and suffering, many things shown me, some things taken away from me for now. More names were given me of men who don't hold Priesthood, more marriages named, and the Lord impressing me to go forward with two young girls sealed to me before it is too late. The Lord has kept me from going to the Saturday Work Meeting this morning. lt is Saturday morning now. My strength is returning.

I have had many impressions and dreams of late. One dream showed the outside powers and the government powers searching for me and my need to keep my family close and very protected. Another showed my sister Marsha ready to do anything to get out of her situation, even to break her covenants, that I needed to intervene in her behalf soon.! add to the list of men who have lost Priesthood, David Draper, Charles Cooke Sr. I have named before, John Nielsen, Wendell's son. I question Dan Wayman's Priesthood, Carlos Holm, Jake Jessop, the son of Dan Jessop. I have already named Jerry Jessop Jr. Marce Jessop and Garth Jessop, three sons of Jerry Jessop Sr., James S. Dockstader, son of AuntJean. Lloyd Wall, I am concerned about. The spirit of indifference against the Priesthood over them causes men to lose Priesthood. Loyalty to God and loyalty to Priesthood is through a fervent faith and devotIOn of the love of God toward them, and indifference is the spirit of the evil one whittling away at testimony and at Priesthood. The Lord has different counsel for each family. Some families must leave UEP land because they are apostate. Others, the ladies will go under their father's direction. I am concerned about Dan Barlow Sr., his indifference and lack of the Spirit of repentance.

I have been through a severe session until 2:00 a.m. this morning, with rejoicing in the Lord, yearning to go His pace. I have been impressed there is a written revelation He wants me to record and I just yearn to be in order and go His pace, only do His will, ready to fulfill whatever He directs.

I called Ernest Jessop Friday morning. They did meet the goal, Wednesday night the 14th, of laying logs on the trusses. But he told me the truss company is giving him trouble. Again David

Allred's connection there didn't work out. They were making trusses for one of the other houses instead of the storehouse. I told Ernest again, "Do your own connecting with these businesses," and they will get another truss company involved, as the trusses seem to be the hold up for now. He is using Edson Jessop for the design and the finish work of the inside of the houses.

I called Uncle Merril Jessop. He had already mapped out part of the garden and cleared trees and was removing the rocks, and according to my instructions, was using many of my family to take the sticks and rocks off the land in preparation for planting a garden. Joseph Steed was following my directives and was out purchasing some milk cows.

I have not been in contact with Short Creek for a day. The Lord has warned me strongly in this session, that I am being watched, I can't use the same vehicles to travel, that I will need His revelations to guide me in all my movements and doings, that I will be protected of the Lord, that I cannot use Nephi's house or any house on the Jeffs's property as sthey are being watched.

Many of the men I have handled are humbling themselves and we are putting the test of time to each situation. Only my brother Brian has been restored to the Priesthood after several weeks of ~e • er e I e~eftttlnee. He e v en vvithheld being baptized, when it was offered him, until he could be sure he had come clean. My brother Blaine is not worthy to be restored, he having committed adultery many, many times. The Lord is guiding this people. Oh, may I be worthy. I yearn to record His written word as He wills. End dictation at this time.

o Lord our God in heaven, guide thy servant and show him the next steps of the redemption of Zion; and show him what to teach to those on this place of refuge how to come into the presence of God and come to the knowledge of God; and also show how the evil powers are seeking to attack thy servant, his family and this people, and grant us the gifts and knowledge and the doors of deliverance

to open up that you will preserve unto thyself a clean and prepared people. Reveal these truths in thy time and way as you will, for we yearn to be about your work; and grant us whatever knowledge and training thy servant and others may need at this time, that your work may continue in a pure exalted path into your presence; and also show unto thy servant his state and standing before thee as thou wilt.

1. Verily thus saith the Lord unto you my servant, Warren Jeffs, thy sins are forgiven thee, and you now stand clean and free from the blood and sins of this wicked generation.

2. Continue to abide in me, watch and pray always, and my Spirit shall be with you and will be a shield of protection round about you as you continue in my will.

3. For behold, the powers of evil, both of this earth and of the spirit world, have combined against you, my servant, and against the work I am having you perform and will yet guide you to accomplish.

4. And through your faith and the revelation of my will and through my almighty power attending you, shall the works ofthine enemies be thwarted, and the ways of deliverance open up for you and the faithful from among my people.

5 Contjnue to go among my people in secret as my Spirit shall guide you, and I shall blind the eyes of thine enemies that you may accomplish my works among the faithful of my people; that they may be encouraged, and blessed, and better prepared for the great day of visitation of the judgments of God; when every man will stand before his creator with his own record of obedience or disobedience as he has chosen.

6. And none shall remain who are found unclean, and the foolish virgins from among my people shall go down with the wicked.

7. And though the faithful of my people shall be driven and persecuted, as I have said in a former commandment, in the day of wrath shall I remember mercy.

8. Continue to search for the honest in heart, they who can qualify for Zion, among my people as I shall lead you; and teach and train and prove them by the revelations of my Spirit burning in

you, my servant, and continue to trust in me for thy very life's sake.

9. There are traitors among my people who seek your destruction at this time, and also they seek the destruction of all those who are determined to keep my commandments I have revealed through you and through all the holy Prophets.

10. I love you my servant, for your sacrifices unto suffering are acceptable before me, and your prayers and yearnings unto me for the redemption of Zion to be accomplished, and for the faithful of my people, have entered into the ears of thy Lord, and are recorded in the heavens, and shall be fulfilled; for the desires of your heart are right before me and are in oneness with my will and in oneness with the eternal plan of salvation for the faithful and for the redemption of this earth, even that eternal plan laid in the council of the Gods before the foundation of this earth was created.

11. Continue to gather mine elect from among your family and from among the people as I shall lead you.

12. Verily, again I say unto you, the redemption of Zion must needs come by power; for the fulness of the redemption of Zion is the presence of God among His people upon the earth; and my people must needs come to the knowledge of God, for knowledge of God is power and deliverance from death, hell, and the devil.

13. And behold, the knowledge of God can only be bestowed upon that person who has been tried and proven faithful, and received of the gift, through their faithfulness, of the perfection of the love of the Father dwelling in them; for no man can know the Father or the Son except by the power and gifts of the Holy Ghost; for the light, knowledge, and intelligence of heaven shines in the minds and hearts of those who love the Lord their God with all their heart, might, mind, and strength.

14. Again verily, I say unto you, my servant, teach those who desire and who can qualify to come into my presence, how to abide in the love of God unto perfection, that my Spirit may lift them up above the temptations of this world, and purify their desires, and beautify their characters with my own nature; and through my Spirit always

increasing in them, the love of the Father, which is always accompanied by the revelations of heaven and the vision of eterninty dwelling in the bosom of the Father, shall place in their hearts an eternal hope of a glorious resurrection and to dwell with me, thy Savior on the earth and in the presence of the holy angels I shall send.

15. And how great shall be their joy as they overcome their fallen nature, and through their faith receive of the heavenly gifts by the grace of God.

16. Call upon my people who dwell at this place of refuge, and who shall yet be sent to participate in the· mission I have given you to prepare a people for the presence of God, to humble themselves further, for many are not yet sufficiently humble.

17. Through the power of my Spirit I search the minds and hearts of my people, and nothing is hidden from me.

18. Call upon them to approach me through the confession of their sins and a yearning for the gifts and knowledge, blessings and ordinances required to come into my presence.

among the people at this place of refuge often, and I will reveal unto you through their faith and my will, greater knowledge and blessings required to accomplish this work of establishing the fulness of the redemption of Zion in this place.

20. And let the First Presidency of my church continue as one, and let my servants, thy brethren Wendell Nielsen, and Fredrick Meade Jessop, continue to seek unto me for the teaching and training of those they are called to instruct.

21. And let them humble themselves, and not rely upon their own strength and wisdom and experience alone, but upon me, the Lord, their God; and I will be with them and better prepare them and those they instruct through my Spirit, for the revelations of my will through you, my servant, in my own time, and according to their faith.

22. And though the powers of earth and hell are combined against you, and my servants, I shall be

At His Place of Refuge Saturday, January 17,2004

1. Verily, I say unto you my servant, Warren Jeffs, prepare thy mind and heart, and continue to humble thyself, that you may be better prepared to receive the One Mighty and Strong, even my servant, Joseph Smith Jr., whom I shall send to further instruct and train you after the order of endless lives; and reveal unto you the ordinances of the house of God required to come into mine own presence in purity and in honor and in all holiness before me.

2. The manifestations of my will are always accompanied with power from on high, that all-consuming heavenly fire of the Holy Ghost, which is the witness of truth, and protects against all deception of the adversary.

3. And know this my son, that the private sufferings and experiences you have been passing through are to prepare you for these greater gifts, and in mine own time the presence of God, that YSli Hitl~( 8SHi8 ts tHe l(H:swles~e sfGss MiS efin~ a prepared people into mine own presence.

4. And through these experiences, you have been learning patience and to trust in me, the Lord thy God.

5. And you are being prepared, my son, to perform a work like unto Enoch of old, and in oneness with me and all the holy Prophets, to bring a people into the presence of God, purified through my Spirit burning in them as they receive and abide in these holy covenants and ordinances that they shall receive at thy hands of me.

6. Prepare thine heart through continued increased humility exercised, that perfect submission unto God through Priesthood. to receive the revelation of my will through those who I send.

7. You are in mine hands, and though you pass through the fire of tribulation, yet shall your heart

be filled with joy and rejoicing in me, as I guide and deliver you from every effort of the evil powers; for what greater joy could burn within your heart than to know your course is pleasing to God, and He has empowered you to walk and talk with God and the Prophets face to face according to His time and will, the will of the Lord thy God.

8. Hold on thy way. Go now this day to the Short Creek Stake of Zion, and I will preserve thy life; and perform the ordinances and give the teachings to those I appoint, and encourage the faithful from among my people.

9. And verily, this is the word of the Lord unto you, my servant, at this time, and concerning my work on the earth.

10. Continue to seek unto me, continue thy daily dedications of the Kingdom of God and the household of faith unto me, that the kingdom of heaven, even mine own presence, may come among you as the Father shall send me.
