Prior to the formation of FIG Partners, LLC, Chris served as senior research analyst at The Robinson-Humphrey Co., SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, and Interstate/Johnson Lane. He has been an analyst since 1992, and has covered banks, thrifts, REITs, and finance companies during his career. Chris brings a grass roots research discipline to FIG Partners. He is a two-time winner of The Wall Street Journal "Best on the Street" survey and noted by Institutional Investor magazine as an "Up and Comer" during several annual investor polls. Chris graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kent State University and is a CFA charter holder.

Mark AbernathyPresident of Community &

Southern Bank

A banking veteran with more than three decades of experience serving metropolitan, private, and community banks, Mr. Abernathy leads the development and execution of Community & Southern Bank plans encompassing organic growth strategies, operations and profit enhancement. Prior to joining CSB in February 2013, he served in multiple capacities for Mississippi-based Cadence Bank, most recently as Community Banking Executive Officer. During his tenure, he led bank mergers and recapitalization efforts for which his well-planned acquisitions built the company from $600 million to $2 billion in assets. He was previously employed with NationsBank of Tennessee in Nashville where he led three lines of business as Regional Executive Officer for Middle Tennessee.

David Coxon President & CEO of Georgia

Primary Bank

An active member of RMA since the early 1980s, Mr. Coxon was national chair for the Risk Management Association from 2010-2011. He has also past chair for RMA's Community Bank Council and the Atlanta Chapter.

Prior to leading Georgia Primary Bank, Mr. Coxon lead State Bank of Georgia and was President and CEO of Southern Community Bank, Fayetteville, and United Community Bank, Fairburn, Ga. He began his banking career in 1974 with Columbus Bank & Trust and also held senior management positions at Bank South and United Bank. Mr. Coxon graduated from Columbus State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and earned a master's degree in management from Mercer University.

David currently serves on RMA's foundation board and is a member the board of directors of the Buckhead Business Association serving as President-Elect.

Charlie Crawford President & CEO of Private Bank

of Buckhead and Decatur

Mr. Crawford has been in banking since 1985. He organized Private Bank of Buckhead and its holding company, Private Bancshares, Inc., and the bank opened its doors to the public on December 11, 2006. The bank now includes the Private Bank of Decatur and PrivatePlus Mortgage divisions. Charlie started his banking career in New York with Bankers Trust Company, and later spent 10 years with Bank South in Atlanta. In 1996, he started The Buckhead Bank and, in 2001, Riverside Bank of Buckhead.

He has undergraduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School of Business, and received his MBA at Georgia State University. He also is a graduate of the LSU School of Banking and Leadership Atlanta (2005). Charlie is a Director of the Buckhead Coalition, for which he serves as Treasurer, and is on the Board of the Georgia Tennis Foundation. He is the immediate past chair of the Atlanta Track Club, and is a member of the Rotary Club of Atlanta. He also is a member of the Board of Advisors for the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University, is on the Board of Councilors for The Carter Center, and serves on the board of McKenney's, an Atlanta-based company that is one of the largest mechanical contractors in the United States. Charlie was the 2014 MS Leadership Class Honorary Chairperson for the Georgia Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. He is a member of the World Presidents' Organization, serves on WPO's board, and is the Chair of his chapter's Spring 2015 meeting.

Rob Garcia President & CEO, Bank of North

Georgia and Regional CEO of Synovus

Rob Garcia has twenty-six years of commercial banking experience with a concentration in commercial real estate and commercial and industrial lending. He joined Bank of North Georgia in 2006 through the merger with Riverside Bank where he served as Executive Vice President and Senior Lending Officer. As a Regional Market President with Bank of North Georgia, Rob was responsible for growing deposits and loans in the Cobb and Buckhead region and overseeing the Commercial Banking team of fifteen lenders as well as the operations of the six branches. In 2010, he was charged with leading a team of Commercial Real Estate bankers in growing and managing the division's extensive commercial real estate portfolio. In January, 2011, he was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer. A graduate of Auburn University, Rob is very active in the local community. He served two consecutive terms as Chairman of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce in 2010 and 2011 and continues to serve on the Chamber Board. Rob is also a board member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scouts of America Atlanta Area Council, Atlanta Regional Commission, Cobb County Board of Elections, Community Advisory Board of Kennesaw State University and Council for Quality Growth.
