Unit D – 2nd Floor Steel & Deck

Roof joists and decking are being set in Unit D.

Unit C & D – Masonry Walls

Masonry walls have continued to go up in Units C & D – 1st and 2nd floors.

Unit D

Unit C: Multi-Purpose Room (C132)

Unit C: LGI Room (C130)

Unit C – 2nd Floor Steel & Deck

Roof decking is being placed in Unit C 2nd floor. Roofing is scheduled to start the week of September 10, 2018.

The classrooms have all received roof joists and decking.

The Large Group Instruction Room has taken shape with the

stair steel and high roof steel installation

underway.

Site – Utility Installation

Lobar subcontractor installed the new underground storm water

line down Highland Alley to CorlStreet.

On August 16, 2018, the Columbia Gas contractor

installed the new gas line down Highland Alley to Corl Street.

West Penn set the new transformer on August 20, 2018.

Building Veneer

Installation of the exterior veneer systems began at the end of August with the metal stud framing, insulation, and wall board –pictured left and above.

Interior brick veneer installation has begun in Stair 1B (D103) – pictured below.

MEP Progress – HVAC & Plumbing

Silvertip installed roof drain piping in Unit D 2nd floor.

Midline extended ductwork into Unit D 1st floor.

The Exterior Mechanical Yard has progressed with the CMU walls and transformer installation.

Unit C 1st floor corridor above-ceiling rough-ins.

MEP Progress - Electrical

Pictured above, Farfieldhas begun installing above-ceiling rough-ins in Unit D

2nd floor classrooms.

Farfield has mounted panel boxes in Unit C first and second floor electrical rooms. Cabling is continuing to be pulled for both floors.

Pictured above, Farfield is terminating feeder cables in the new building switchgear.
