STARWASHOPEN WIDTH WASHING RANGE

STARWASH is the new groundbreaking washing box by MCS. Modular and compact in size, it allows both knitted and woven fabrics to be processed, owing to the OVERFLOW & BUBBLE patented system. The fabric is conveyed through two internal motorized large-sized drums, three return rollers on which load cells and a squeezer are mounted. The internal recirculation of the liquor in forced counterflow and the absence of spray nozzles provide a powerful washing impact as well as a gentle action on the most sensitive fibres. It is the ideal washing cycle for synthetic and natural fibres, sui-table for washing both after traditional and ink-jet printing, after wool fixing and bleaching and/or mercerizing.

STARWASH è il nuovo innovativo box di lavaggio MCS. Modulare e compatto permette di processare, tessuti sia a maglia che a trama-catena, grazie al sistema brevettato OVERFLOW & BUBBLE SYSTEM. Il trasporto del tessuto avviene attraverso due tamburi motoriz-zati interni di grosse dimensioni, tre cilindri di rinvio sui quali sono montate delle celle di carico ed un foulard di spremitura. Il ricircolo interno del bagno forzato di lavaggio e l’assenza di spruzzatori, permettono al tempo stesso un grande impatto lavante ed una delicatezza sulle fibre più sensibili. E’ un lavaggio ideale per fibre sia sintetiche che naturali, sia per lavaggi dopo stampa tradizionale che ink-jet, per lavaggi e fis-sazione della lana, oppure per lavaggi dopo candeggio e/o mer-cerizzo.

The shaped design of the troughs, the high number of recycles and re-fillings with clean water allow a better penetration of liquor into the fibre.

The process is accelerated by the action of oxygen, which ensures a more efficient washing with limited consumptions.

For processes involving a certain quantity of textile residuals, the application of external self-cleaning filters is foreseen. (or ex. Devorè printing).

Il disegno sagomato delle vasche e l’elevato numero di ricir-coli/reintegri di acqua pulita consentono di ottenere una maggiore penetrazione del bagno nella fibra.

Il processo viene accelerato dall’azione dell’ossigeno, che determina un lavaggio più efficace con consumi ridottissimi.

Per lavorazioni che prevedono molti residui tessili, (es. stampa Devorè), è prevista l’applicazione di speciali filtri autopulenti esterni.

STARWASH FS (Fast Scouring) has been designed for scouring in continuous with heatsetting, in order to reduce the quanti-ty of oil present in elastic fabrics and to prepare the fabrics to subsequent processings. Oils to be eliminated are mainly silicones coming from elas-tomers and minerals used as lubricants in weaving. Such oils, burning at high temperatures during heatsetting, are elimi-nated unevenly and create areas with different absorptions inside the fabric itself. Reduce and make these oils even on the surface of the fabrics becomes a fundamental operation to be carried out before heat-setting. Heat-set fabrics, scoured in a discontinuous machine will have inferior qualities, as well as more expensive processing costs.

STARWASH FS (Fast Scouring) è pensata per purgare in continuo al termofissaggio, allo scopo di ridurre la quantita’ di olio presente nei tessuti elasticizzati e prepararli al meglio per le successive fasi di lavorazione. Gli oli da eliminare principalmente sono i siliconi provenienti dagli elastomeri e i minerali utilizzati come lubrifi-canti in tessitura. Questi oli, bruciando con le alte temperature del termofissaggio, si eliminano in maniera disuniforme e creano zone di diverso assor-bimento all’interno del tessuto. Ridurre e uniformare questi oli sulla superficie del tessuto diventa quindi una operazione fondamentale, da fare prima del tratta-mento termico. Un tessuto gia termofissato e purgato in disconti-nuo su una macchina di tintura avrà caratteristiche qualitative inferiori, oltre che un costo di lavorazione più alto.

DRUM SCOURING

STARWASH FS (Fast Scouring) is the innovative scouring box by MCS, ideal for synthetic and natural fibers with high per-centage of Lycra. Modular and compact, it allows to process knitted and woven articles as wellm thanks to patented OVER-FLOW & BUBBLE SYSTEM. Fabric runs thanks to two big-size driven drums , three trans-mission rollers on which load-cells are installed, and then a squeezer. Inner circulation of forced liquor and sprayers guarantee a remarkable washing impact and, at the same time, an extremely delicate action on more sensitive fibres and com-plete removal of detergents unsed during scouring process. Removed oils are eliminated by means of a special filter.

The LAVAPRINT NEXT range for washing after printing of knitted and woven fabrics compries: • open width section: - high efficiency washing units: STAR WASH - relaxation unit on a conveyor belt, where the fabric in deposited in small plaits • rope section: - continuous rope processing unit: MULTIWASH The range is designed to process a wide range of fabrics with minimum tension and incorporates three essential functions in a single washing operation: • Open width impregnation and stabilization • Open width fabric swelling in relaxed conditions • Intensive washing in rope form including treatments such as oxidation and soaping

The main use of LAVAPRINT NEXT range is for washing after printing of a wide range of articles dyed with reactive, disperse, indanthren, and acid printed. Apart from washing after printing, the LAVAPRINT can also be employed for relaxation, washing, washing after Pad-Batch bleaching, washing after Pad-Batch dyeing, washing after caustic soda treatments. The LAVAPRINT EVOLUTION range for washing after printing of knitted and woven fabrics compries: • open width section:

- high efficiency washing units: STAR WASH - relaxation unit on a conveyor belt, where the fabric in

The range is designed to process a wide range of fabrics with minimum tension and incorporates three essential functions in a single washing operation:

Dosing of pure products and water control in a washing line The CONT-DOSING system is a system managed by a PC communicating with a PLC which can control up to 8 dosing pumps and 8 water inlets. Installed dosing pumps are with pneumatic piston at double effect. Pump control frequency values are calcu-

lated so as to avoid sudden changes in the concentra-tion of the bath. Therefore, the system is fully automatic and the opera-tor’s action is only required when the system asks for the replacement of empty containers. The microproces-sor is enabled to perform either the dosing by pre-set litres or the dosing of the products as a function of the kilograms of fabrics entered into the ma-chine.

PCTE: industrial PC developed in Windows room to improve all diag-nostic functions, monitoring and automation of dyeing machines. With Touch-Screen, purposely designed for industrial use, the access to functions is easy and immediate. On Customer's request it is always possible to install different brands of controllers.

Il sistema CONT-DOSING è un sistema gestito da un PC in comunicazione con un PLC; può comandare fino a 8 pompe dosatrici e controllare fino a 8 ingressi d’acqua. Le pompe dosatrici usate sono a pistone pneumatico a doppio effetto. La frequenza di comando delle pompe è calcolata in modo da evitare repentine variazioni della concentrazione del bagno. Il sistema è quindi completamente automatico e limita l’intervento dell’operatore alla sola sostituzione dei con-tenitori vuoti su informazione del sistema stesso. Il micro-processore è abilitato sia per il dosaggio a litri program-mati, sia per il dosaggio dei prodotti in funzione dei Kg di tessuto immessi in macchina.

PCTE: PC industriale sviluppato in ambiente windows per implementare in modo avanzato tutte le funziona-lità diagnostiche, di monitoraggio e di automazione delle macchine di tintu-ra. Grazie allo schermo tattile touch-screen, progettato espressamente per l’impiego industriale, ogni funzio-nalità risulta di facile ed immediato accesso. A richiesta è possibile installare altri microprocessori disponibili.
