Teemu Polo has more than a decade of experience working in and with startups in

various roles: as a global business developer of Nokia, as an entrepreneur,

and from the public sector (policy, ecosystem development).

He has also been active in Finnish Federation of Enterprises serving as a founder/chairman for the high-growth

startup related activities. He holds an M.Sc. (SW engineering) and executive MBA (strategy). Teemu lives in

Helsinki with a wife and two boys, and gets kicks out of practicing judo and evaluating

Horizon 2020 proposals.

Startup Sauna. Pitching King. Having been raised on three different continents, he is not the typical, quiet Finn (he says). He is currently the Director of Community at Startup Sauna after being President of

Aalto Entrepreneurship Society. Passions include robotics, casino management and
