Focus of event: Highlighting an area pre-teen author(s) Overview of event (two hours in length): 1st hour: Highlighting area pre-teens and having them talk, discuss – why and how they began their...(comic book, poems, etc.) 2nd hour: "Experts: demonstrating how they (area pre-teens) can (if not already) compile those items into a collection for production (sale) and what that can mean for them All of this captured with pictures, video, and possibly interviews (digital audio recording) to demonstrate to other area pre-teens what is possible for them too and posted on http://startup52.biz/kidpreneur/ along with being shared on various social media channels Date(s): KIDpreneur Day would be on a Saturday (once school is back in session). Time (length): 2 hours (10am-12pm or 12pm-2pm); all dependent upon local bookstore’s availability Benefit to Taylor Books: Increased traffic flow of multi-generations, community goodwill, and highlighting and encouraging area youth to become a potential pre-teen author *(Quantity limited to ten)
