Startup Weekends are 54 hours events where designers,

developers, marketers and project managers work

together in teams to turn an idea into a fully shaped

project and lauch their startups!

Event program

Friday evening: Participants pitch their

ideas in 60 seconds, then vote for the best

ideas and form a dozen teams.

Saturday:

Teams work on their startup, build a business

model and validated their hypothesis.

Sunday evening:

Teams pitch their newly built startup in front of a jury of professionals.

Brussels winners - 1st Prize

The Best Startup Prize went to Tiny Stories, an app

designed to help you build a cartoon in 60 seconds. The

jury was unanimous. Tiny Stories also received The Great

Jury Prize. Their moto was: Be a kid for 60 seconds.

Brussels winners – 2nd Prize

The Geekest Startup Prize went to Mailswipe, an app

that allows you to sort and take quick actions for your

mails on the go so that you can use all the time you are

loosing in the queues, elevators, boring meetings to sort

your mailbox.

Brussels winners – 3rd Prize

The Leanest Startup Prize went to Birzo, an online

platform using a Tinder-like website/app in which you

like or dislike beers by swiping pictures of craft beer

labels.
