- Thisistheweekwhenthestartupstartstoemerge.- Goalistointroducethebusinessplanandgetstudentsgoingonfamiliarizingwith

componentsofabusinessplan.- Buildingafoundingteam,andteam-thinkisimportant.- Watchoutfordysfunctionalteams–quicklyhelpwithgettingteamssetup.

o Payattentiontoteamdynamicsofeachteam.Ifyouidentifyanyissuesthentryafix(withparentsincluded).Herearesomeexampleissues:

§ Teamcompositionistoosmall-sincethereisalotofworktodo,itisbesttohaveateamsizeof4to6.

§ Teamhasmemberswhoseagesareverydifferent–frustrationbuildswhenallarenotcarryingtheirload,andwithateamwithayoungpersonteamedwitholderstudentsthiscanbeexemplified.

Technologyandsuch.Session5:Topic:Financialsofthebusinessopportunity.Instruction:

- Thisisanimportantclassasprettymuchallofthelearningsherewouldbenewtostudents–Financials

- Recommendedteachingstyleistocorrelatedailyactivitiesofkidstofinancialstofacilitatebetterunderstanding.

o OnegoodwayistolookattheAppseconomyasmostwouldrelatetoit.- Costsofdoingbusinessisagotchawithmoststudentsasthey(naturally)gravitateto

Session7:Topic:Filingyourpatent,patentgotchas,successesandfailures.Instruction:

- IntellectualProperty–thisisanintenseclassduetothenumerousnewconceptsstudentslearn.
