Exercise 1
• Introduce yourself to one new person providing:– 1 name– 2 status at BEYA (employer, student,
school representative or other)– 3 workplace or school– 4 what you do for a living or want to do– 5 one hobby or experience
Increase Personal Development
• Goals and aspirations– Who do you want to be?
• Cultural background and who you are – Employee Resource Groups
• Drive– What excites you?
Exercise 2 – Getting personal• Share one heritage or cultural tradition with a different person than you spoke to in Exercise 1 – again, someone you don’t know.

Communication Skills• Career fair, job interview, conference, travel
