WHAT DOES IT EAT?

Starfish are powerful hunters and primarily feed on molluscs. They also eat: Sand dollars Snails Injured fish Not all starfish hunt for meat.

WHERE DOES IT LIVE?• Coral reefs are the

favorite home for various types of starfish, particularly for the crown of thorns.

The big starfish: live in the Atlantic Ocean, from the coasts of northern Europe to the islands of Cape Verde, and around the Mediterranean Sea. Some species: live on rocky and stony substrates in the coastal strip .

HOW DOES IT REPRODUCE?STARFISH REPRODUCTION: are played sexually and asexually, are animals Ovuliparos.

• SEXUALLY: the males release sperm and eggs females from 5 testicles to 5 ovaries have.

• ASEXUALLY: by regeneration, each missing part of the starfish can be

regenerated and give rise to a new individual.

WHAT’S THE BODY LIKE?
