Love Yourself First Academic Bowl Challenge 7th and 8th grade Academic Bowl team members brought home 5 medals on April 12th--Congratulations on a job well done. 8th grade Orchestra students had a fantastic opportunity to interact with a professional conductor and performer, Barb Scowcroft. After a day of practice they were able to perform in Walk Hall at Teton Village. A big thanks to those who came and supported the musicians. SVMS Promotional Promotional ceremony for 8th graders will be held on Wednesday, May 29th, at 7:00pm. Come celebrate this accomplishment. Yearbook Signing - May 31st All fees must be paid in order to get your yearbook. Parents of 2019-2020 Middle Schoolers! When you look at the yearbook this year, you will notice that I added some extra pages to include some of the activities the students in SVMS are involved in. This includes: hunting, gymnastics, snow sports, and fishing. My staff and I try to include all students in the yearbook, but this can prove difficult. The best way to get your middle schooler into the yearbook is to email me the picture! Over the summer, please send me pictures of your kids doing stuff outside of school. Vacations, camping, wakeboarding, whatever they do. I would like to find a place for it in the yearbook. Email me your pictures this summer! [email protected] Final Track Meet of the season will be Thursday, May 2nd in Jackson SVMS Top Readers The top 25 readers will be going to Idaho Falls on May 20th. Each of these great readers will be given a $15 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble and will have the opportunity of purchasing the book of their choice. After shopping at Barnes and Noble, we will be taking these kids to lunch and then returning to the school. Congratulations to the students who have been outstanding readers this year.
