In the Grand Oasis the double stable doors are located on the greenhouse’ s long side, creating an airy feel and easy access thanks to the low threshold.

THE DREAM...For a lot of people, the greenhouse dream has been built over many years. Many people think that their greenhouse should stand on a dwarf wall – either of bricks, wood or plastered concrete.

With the new modules from Juliana you can easily build your Juliana greenhouse on a wall.

You could build a brick wall on which the green-house is fitted. As an alternative, Juliana has de-veloped modules that can be the wall for your greenhouse. The modules can be covered with wood or plastered or a shell wall can be applied. This is a way for you to give your greenhouse exactly the look and finish that fits into your gar-den – and then your dream greenhouse can be a space where you can create your star moments.

The elements in the modules system can be left raw and untreated.

Cover the elements with wood for a nice organic look.

If you plaster the modules the greenhouse will have a raw modern look.

Another option is to coat the mo-dules with a brick look for a more traditional appearance.

If you choose to build a dwarf wall with fine old bricks, you get a classic English greenhouse look.

The dwarf wall greenhouses will be produced withshortened aluminium profiles so the base of the greenhouse will fit with the solid wall. This solution

You can build a dwarf wall as a base for your greenhouse but the newly developed model system gives you the opportunity to cover the bottom part with a cladding of your choice, so you can create a more personal room in your garden.

If you choose glass, you previously had to choose between

common horticultural greenhouse glass or toughened glass.

But in the Juliana range we have decided that all models will

be offered exclusively with full-length toughened glass.

Profiles – aluminum or paintedThe traditional hobby greenhouse was originally made of

aluminum. But much has happened over the years, and in the

Juliana range we generally offer the models in both untreated

aluminum and powder coated anthracite-coloured aluminum.

Both variants come with black windows and doors. Whether

you want the traditional aluminum or dark grey look depends

on your personal taste.

CrestingRoof decoration - also called cresting - was originally develo-

ped to prevent birds from roosting on the roof. At the same

time, it gives the greenhouse a classic look. Whether you wish

to have roof decoration on your greenhouse is entirely up to

you. In the Juliana range, cresting can be added to Orangery,

Compact, Premium and Gardener.

Building permitFor planning permission in relation to greenhouses, we re-

commend that you investigate local regulations.

A greenhouse typically stays in the garden for many years,

so it is important to find out what is right in terms of needs

and wishes.

Size - Think not only of the base area but also the heightIt is of course important to consider how big the greenhouse

should be. But it is a good idea to look at the height too. A

greenhouse with a side height of at least 150 cm and a total

height of more than 2 m gives a good roomy feel. You can

stand upright, both when you work in the greenhouse with

your plants or if you use the greenhouse as an extra room.

Grow, relax - or bothThe size depends of course on the amount of space in the gar-

den and where the house is to be placed. But it is also impor-

tant to make clear what the greenhouse is going to be used

for. Should you relax or grow tomatoes and herbs - or both?

Dinner party or time aloneIf you want to invite the whole family for dinner in the green-

house when the weather does not allow you to sit under the

open sky, then you will need more space. Having said that, you

do not need a large greenhouse to make room for a dining

area. It is about taking advantage of the space in the right way.

Herbs or giant pumpkinsThink about what you want to grow. Are there crops that

require space? Many people underestimate the space needed

for growing and buy a greenhouse that is too small. But once

you get started and become addicted to picking home-grown

cucumbers and tomatoes, you will easily want to expand the

range. So think about what you will grow. Do you just want

herbs, or do you want more, and larger, crops?

Four or more sidesGreenhouses come in many shapes. The classic shape is the

rectangular greenhouse, but there are also other designs,

such as a lean-to, a pavilion style or an orangery. In terms of

cultivating, a tomato thrives as well in a round as in a square

greenhouse. So it is an individual assessment and depends on

personal taste and style.

BEFORE BUYING A GREENHOUSE

ASSEMBLY

Assembling and erecting a greenhouse is

a ’do-it-yourself’ task. Alternatively, you

can choose to buy our installation service.

If you choose to complete the assembly

work, you usually have to spend 2-3 days

with a ’normal’ greenhouse, and you must

plan the task realistically. E.g. place the base

firmly on a level surface and wait for the

cement to dry before assembling the house

itself. At juliana.com (Help&Support) you

will find videos that will help you through

the construction process.

crush them thoroughly in apestle & mortar together with

pine nuts.

Add the oil a little at a time whileyou check the texture and finallystir in the cheese. Season with
