I visited the most common museums and theme parks of Colombia, and focused my attention in their internal stores and souvenir processes. This is the Museum of Modern Art of Bogotá (MAMBO), as you can see the welcome door is very limited. There’s only space to enter two persons at a time. Additionally the available room inside to walk through the

store reduced so you can be in risk of damage something. I’d give it more space and a ‘menu’ of products’ categories to see what they sell.

This picture shows the National Museum. As you can see, it’s a bit cluttered but the entrance door is much wider than the previous location. In one single look you see that this store sells different products’ categories such as big pictures, typical clothing, and sports

bottles, among others. Sales personnel is limited, you can see that no one is in the photograph, so it’s important to guide customers within the store. In the other hand I perceived a weird smell, but I think it is due to the antique of the walls and wall paint.

This theme park is called Maloka and specializes in biological, physical and chemical experiential learning. In this instance you can see the store distribution which I recall it as a strength because all products’ categories are very organized. From the door, all prospects can see that this place sells interactive game, learning activities, backpacks, and chemical trials , among others. What I’d suggest to this store owner would be to train a bit more to

their sales people since I asked something’s functionality and he didn’t know.

Salitre is an amusement park but also offers the option of aquatic park. The day when I visited this place, the entertaining store was closed!!! First viewpoint to take into

account>>> Theme park stores NEED TO BE OPEN to the visitors and prospects, period. However, when I checked through the window could realize that the commercial space is

very limited too, it’s a quadrant and only supports 8 persons approximately. Souvenirs weren’t high quality since I almost see that teddy bears looked like used or reburshished.

This place is one of my favorites. It's called Medellín Museum and is located at almost the ‘second capital city’ of Colombia. You can easily see that the available space is much wider than other places shown before. Items can be reviewed easily, are touchable and can easily purchased. This store owner thought about the usability of the user and allow the prospect to see its inventory. The only think I’d suggest is related to the shelves material. It’s made in

glass so you could think that they can get broken at anytime.
