Story Overview A Thailand trader required Standby LC to conclude their steel

Thailand Trader who deals with steel sheets import and export received a bulk
deal to supply steel sheets to buyers in the local market. So, they decided to
import steel sheets from an Indian supplier to cover the local market demand.
The supplier agreed to supply the materials based on the payment term “Standby
Letter of Credit”.
The buyer contacted their bank to avail SBLC, but they demanded 100% cash
margin. Since, the buyer doesn’t have enough cash in their account; they decided
to avail SBLC MT760 by contacting private sectors.

The buyer contacted many private sectors & financial institutions to avail
Standby LC without pledging cash collateral. But nothing worked out! Almost all
asked for cash margin or third party assurance to get the job done.

behalf of the buyer to the supplier’s bank via authenticated Swift MT760.
