DFS Series Line-up.

Polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon®) is a synthetic fluoropolymer that has numerous applications. It is strong, tough and has an extremely high level of chemical resistance is chemically inert and virtually impervious. It has reasonably high tensile and flex strength. PTFE is Non-soluble, non-flammable and has high weather-ability. PTFE is often used for applications where there is a need to resist extremely harsh chemicals and is also used for the production of semiconductors due to its cleanliness. PTFE is not electrically conductive. PTFE resists nearly all acids and alkalis however can be effected by some chemicals such as molten alkali metals, turbulent liquid or gaseous fluorine and a few fluoro-chemicals such as chlorine trifluoride or oxygen difluoride.

The Looped C® Spool

YTS has developed the New Looped C® Spool offering improved switching reliability and longer parts life expectancy. The Looped C® Spool has fully replaceable Seal Rings and a new lightweight Shaft. The Sleeve has also been redesigned offering increased wear resistance and increased surface smoothness. This Spool & Sleeve are outside accessible and completely Non-lubricated.

The DFS (Standard Grade PTFE) pump line-up is available in 5 basic sizes with a range of options and accessories. Specifically designed to transfer highly corrosive chemicals. These pumps can also be used in some Clean Room type chemical transfer processes such as in the manufacture of electronic components, solar panels and also for some processes related to the manufacture of Semiconductors.
