Zoolab came to Playtime nursery Staines on Wednesday

9th November, they brought a range of different reptiles,

bugs and animals for all the children to see and even

hold.

We met, Milkshake the milk snake, Jane the cockroach,

Leo the gecko, Squeak the rat and spike the bearded

dragon. Alan from zoo lab gave us a description about

each reptile, insect and animal and encouraged the

children to touch or hold them.

The children were really excited and were sad to see

them go.

We hope you like our snaps!

Crazy Art

Time: 10 Mins

Age: Under 5’s

Level: Easy

Materials

Piece of Cardboard

Paint

Clingfilm

Method

1. Squirt small bits of paint on to the

cardboard using as many colours as you

would like

2. Lay a piece of cling film over the top (I

wrapped it around the sides too to stop

the paint oozing out the sides)

3. Now the fun part! Squish the paint

through the cling film!

Now you’ve got a crazy looking picture and the

colours will start blending to create different

colours.

How many colours can you see?
