Did you know Children’s Centres provide a range of services in your local community,

whether it is activities, services or information and advice we are here to help.

A small fee may be chargeable for some services but you may be eligible for a Free Pass

Card. For more information and to become a Children’s Centre member please pop into your

nearest centre or call us on 01782 297970.

Baby Clinic For more information call 0300 124 5029 to speak to the Newcastle & Moorlands Health Visitor Hub. Baby Massage & Yoga Learn to massage your baby to aid relaxation, sleep and colic for parents/carers with babies from birth to crawling. Please bring along a towel. Birth Plan Sessions Find out about making a birth plan, including where to give birth, pain relief options, who to have with you and your feelings on intervention. Boogie Time Wobblers and Toddlers Entertaining music and exercise class for both parents and children promoting posi-tive touch, developmental play and above all having lots of fun together. For children from birth to toddlers. Buzzabout A structured fun session for 0-5 years with stories, singing and craft activities Careers Help and Advice Advice sessions and support. Childminders Networking Group A networking opportunity for registered childminders. Explorers Soft Play Breakfast Club and Soft Play session. FAB Café / Breastfeeding Support Groups Peer support programme run by specialist Health Visitor and also Parent Led support for all mums breastfeeding.

Groovy Grandparents Fun session delivered by volunteer Grandparents to enjoy with their grandchildren. Job Centre Plus Advice sessions and support. Leek College Functional Skills Adult learning 12 week programmes, English, maths and ICT skills. Little Leeks Messy Play Various messy play and sensory experiences plus craft activities for babies and tod-dlers. Matters - Why Play Matters… An exciting new monthly drop in session run by experienced psychotherapists for parents and children aged 0-18 months Melissa’s Baby Massage and Movement Baby massage from birth to crawling and moving onto yoga until walking then pro-gress onto Kids Yoga for toddlers. Mellow Bumps & Mellow Parenting A programme that decreases stress levels of new mums and mums to be. It helps to understand that babies are prepared for social interaction from birth. Musical Moments Stimulating educational and fun early years musical classes for children aged 0- 5 years. Parent, Toddler and Baby group A term time only play and stay session that is open to parents and children aged 0-5 years come along for lots of fun activities stories and songs. Play Together Various fun play activities for parents/carers and children aged 0-5 years. Play Together Baby Time Various fun play and sensory experience for babies aged 0-12 months Post Natal Group Midwife appointments for mums to be and those first appointments after birth.

Sensory Room Learn together in our magical sensory room of fibre optic lights, bubble tubes and music, for parents/carers and infants 0-3 years. Simply Play No cliques, just friendly staff who will help to spend time with your children, to have fun, and try lots of different activities. The Free course will support you and your child to learn together. Soccer Lions Using football as a medium, this active session invites you and your toddler/young child to learn together whilst promoting physical fitness and development. For par-ents/carers and children aged 1-5 years. Booking is essential. Speech and Language Therapy A referral only specialist service for young people. Stay & Play Various fun play activities for parents/ carers and children aged 0-5 years. Tea and Tots Stay and Play drop in group for children aged 0-5 years. Younger Minds Specialist service for young people. Referral only
