Staff Meeting – Tuesday 14 th October 2014 Key Teaching and Learning Updates Please start to use the blog to share your ideas or for advice / inspiration! Key target for the year was to develop a consistent approach to SIR marking and allowing time for students to respond. We are making progress on this! Best practice is to return to the response to evidence a learning dialogue between the student and teacher. Please do not mark in green pens because students should be engaging with feedback in green pen or with the green highlighter. There are more highlighters and Super Learner stamps available in MCG’s office. Until further notice, every Wednesday I will be running a Marking and Feedback drop in clinic in room 61 from 3.40pm – 4.40pm. Please call in with any marking questions or needs or if you would like advice on what outstanding marking looks like.
