Challenge: How do you engage the press, licensing partners and key social influencers to promote the launch of the newest line of NFL Homegating products? By leveraging the 50th anniversary of the NFL and showcasing the evolution of football and entertaining. The press was immersed in “Homegating through the decades” through period specific living room vignettes, complete with costumed docents and historic NFL game footage. The experience ended “in the now” with celebrity hosted cooking, mixology and décor demonstrations.

Challenge: How do you create Homegating advocates, raise awareness of the new line of products and drive traffic and purchase intent on NFLShop.com? Take the product to new venues and new audiences by activating at high profile food & wine festivals and bridal shows, giving consumers first hand experiences with the new line of Homegating products. The experience asked users to show their team pride with a “make your team” slider bar, complete with celebrity chefs, NFL branding and the chance to memorialize mouth-watering team slider creations with a custom “slider selfie” cam.

Challenge: How do you create meaningful engagement that deepens Hilton’s longtime commitment to the LGBT community? By creating a social media movement at LGBT parades and festivals in key influential markets of NYC and DC. Parade goers became co-creators through a real-time, digital media float. The experience was extended at the festival through a photo interactive where participants could share their LGBT pride.

Challenge: How do you turn a B to B medical education event into an immersive experience that creates brand advocates out of leading MDs in North America? Disrupt and re-brand the entire Med Ed model. “Technology Meets Technique” was created as a branded conference series that turned the traditional classroom setting into a theatrical experience. Immersive environments built intimate connections for attendees with interactive VR product experiences combined with live demonstrations.

Challenge: How do you launch PNC Mortgage’s proprietary software tools to Realtors in an oversaturated expo hall? With theme generation and content journey mapping a solid foundation was developed to build the attendee experience around the tools that help “build a better business”. A custom booth stood at the centerpiece to welcome attendees. Animated graphic video content introduced the concepts while interactive kiosks tested attendee knowledge of the information. Interactions were gamified and the more correct answers allowed for more themed giveaways by unlocking the prize door.

Role: Creative Director

Challenge: How do you reach the “unstoppable” female consumer and align the Compeed brand with female empowerment? Create a national sampling program for the US launch of Compeed to increase awareness, trail and drive purchase at exclusive retail partner Walgreens. Compeed reached the target at women driven events such as color runs, Mudderellas and marathons. Compeed coaches branded in athleisure wear cheered on runners and handed out samples throughout the day. After the race runners were invited to relax and rejuvenate in the Compeed lounge complete with foot massages and customized foot selfies to boost social media exposure.

Challenge: To connect attendees at TED via an immersive, digital networking experience. The Delta innovation lounge was created around a thematic focus on connectivity, stemming from Delta’s core value promise to keep guests connected in the air and on the ground. The lounge concept was represented through a network of connected points that created physical tension and movement through wiry and elongated materials forming engaging spatial experiences. Guest were further connected through the “Social Soul” activation in an immersive digital installation composed of streaming media on a series of sculpturally arranged flat screens. Participant’s Twitter feeds were visually illustrated on screen and mirrored surfaces to create an undulating “infinite” sense of connectivity.

Theme: Across the Human Spectrum

Acthar’s approach to kidney care enables doctors to touch the lives of a wide variety of patients. It succeeds because it understands the human factor. The scientists that make the drug, the doctors who prescribe and the patients that are helped all play a role in the process. Unlike competitor drugs it touches all 5 MCRs - offering a different approach that provides a more complete solution and range of effectiveness. What if we could create a compelling display that embodies this human factor approach that serves as a platform for educating attendees about how Acthar works across the human spectrum.

The human spectrum is introduced in a pre-show mailer that utilizes lenticular printing to create an animated morphing effect to transition between multiple images.

In the mailer we see the spectrum of patient and doctor and their connection as they “flip” from one face to the other.

Patient and doctor quotes are testimonial to their experience with Acthar.

Booth Experience

The human spectrum is experienced through a dynamic video wall where attendees can interact with testimonials by patients, doctors, nurses and scientists. The video wall is made up of LCD panels containing close-up shots of different faces. These faces are not static but moving graphics – they are looking at us, blinking, slighting moving but not speaking to us.

Pre-Show Mailer

The attendee touches the patient LCD panel to activate the patient testimonial.

Once activated, the face panel turns from B&W to color as the patient tells a 1 minute testimonial about their experience with Acthar.

Theme: Bring your imagination to life

Shurtech is leading the way in innovation with DIY tapes that offer creative solutions for life’s challenges. The possibilities are endless. It is more than just a roll of tape. It is a resource that you keep coming back to that makes you ask - now what else can I do? If you can imagine it, Shurtech can help you create it. What if we could create a compelling display that shows how Shurtech’s products are as creative and innovative as you are?

Booth Experience

Attendees entering the booth see a collection of Shurtech Objects of Curiosity that are mounted to a display table with dramatic lighting and preserved under a vitrine – creating a museum like display. iPads are mounted in front of the vitrines on articulated posts so that the viewer can position the iPad over the object. Each object on display represents a problem that needs to be creatively solved. Using augmented reality we add a layer of rich media that brings the Shurtech solution to life in an animated video over the object. For example, a baby rattle is seen inside the vitrine. Through augmented reality the story of the rattle is revealed.

Post Show Social Media

Attendees will bring their imagination to life through the Shurtech Art Challenge. An artist-in-residence invites attendees to flex their creative muscle and see what they can make using Shurtech products. The Shurtech Art Challenge is then extended through social media as a Facebook contest. All trade show attendees that participate will have their work of art submitted on Shurtech’s Facebook page where friends and family can vote for their favorite. Winners will receive a Shurtech branded “imagination box” containing innovative new products before they are released to the public.

Through the iPad we see the rattle come to life in a 30 second animation showing a new family on a budget that created a beautiful nursery with some imagination and Frog Tape.

After each story the product catalog is launched. The application tracks which stories and products the attendee interacts with and uses that information for post-show lead generation.
