SPECIFICALLY, IT WILL:DESIGN THE STRUCTURAL MEMBERS BY THE AID OF STAAD USING UBC 1997 FOR SEISMIC ANALYSIS AND ACI-08 FOR CONCRETE DESIGN.FOLLOW THE STANDARDS SPECIFIED IN NSCP FOR THE APPLICATION OF LOADS.PROVIDE A SUMMARY OF THE STAAD ANALYSIS THAT THE DRAFTSMAN CAN EASILY UNDERSTAND.USE AND APPLY ALL THE KNOWLEDGE IN CE 2L/ SOFTWARE APPLICATION.STEPS IN STAAD ANALYSISCREATE YOUR PLAN USING THE COMMAND RUN STRUCTURE WIZARD AND MERGE IT INTO THE MODEL.CREATE THE STAIRS, MAKE IT PARALLEL IN VIEWING SIDEWAYS.ASSIGN PROPERTIES FOR ALL THE MEMBERS.DEFINE THE SEISMIC DATA USING UBC 1997. INPUT NEEDED VALUES USING STANDARDS IN NSCP.ASSIGN THE LOADS. (DEAD LOAD, AND VARIOUS LIVE LOADS).THESE LOADS SHOULD BE IN ACCORDANCE TO NSCPCOMPUTATIONS OF LOAD INPUTS

STEPS IN STAAD ANALYSISGENERATE LOAD COMBINATIONS AND LOAD LIST.CREATE SUPPORTS BY DRAWING PLATES IN RUN STRUCTURE WIZARD. MERGE INTO MODELS AND APPLY SUPPORT. UNDER FOUNDATION, CHOOSE PLATE MAT AND ASSIGN.GENERATE SURFACE MESH AND APPLY IT TO THE STAIRS.START CONCRETE DESIGN AND DEFINE ALL THE PARAMETERS NEEDED. (E.G. FC, FY, CLB, ETC.)DESIGN THE BEAM, COLUMNS AND ELEMENTS/SLAB.STEPS IN STAAD ANALYSISPERFORM THE ANALYSIS AND WAIT FOR THE RESULTS.DOUBLE CHECK IF ALL THE MEMBERS HAVE CONCRETE DESIGN (ACI-08).MAKE SURE THAT THE DISPLACEMENT OF FOUNDATION IS NOT GREATER THAN 38MM.
