Valedictorian

◈ Nomination forms will be released in the middle of April. You cannot nominate yourself!

◈ Nominees must be eligible; nominations will verified & candidates confirmed

Beginning of May:  ◈ Nominees will each give a 2 minute speech (why you should vote for me)◈ Online voting for preferred candidate (4 days for this)◈ Person who receives the most votes is the Valedictorian;  2nd most votes is the

Salutatorian (gives the welcome) ◈ The valedictorian and salutatorian will begin working on their speeches and

meet with Ms. Power by the 3rd week of May 

Graduation Dinner Dance (Prom)

◈ Taking place on Friday June 12th 2020

Brunch/Rehearsal and Ceremony

◈ Brunch, Rehearsal and Ceremony all taking place on Tuesday June 23, 2020

◈ It is important to follow all the info that is coming regarding this day. Keep an eye on the website.

◈ Rehearsal is imperative to attend. Everyone has a responsibility to be at the rehearsal the morning of June 23rd if they want to walk down the aisle at Grad.

◈ Ceremony is a very solemn event, and everyone wants it to run as smoothly as possible. At the rehearsal we will go over a lot of information items including seating arrangements, how the ceremony will run, how to line up to process into the ceremony, etc.

◈ Luncheon will be a time to spend with your classmates one last time. You will receive your ceremony tickets as you leave the luncheon. DO NOT LOSE THEM.

◈ For the ceremony you will receive THREE tickets. Family members must present their ticket in order to be granted entrance into the ceremony.

◈ Semi-formal attire is appropriate for luncheon and ceremony - an outfit you would wear to church.

◈ You will be given your gowns at the school. You are to come to the ceremony with your gowns on.

◈ All school rules will apply throughout this entire day.

◈ We will communicate info to you via the site and may meet with you again as we get closer to June.

Graduation Pictures◈ Picture sessions will start on March 3rd on the third floor, in between rooms 303 and 304 in the art

gallery area

◈ Previous to that date, you will receive a photo registration card in your first period class

◈ The photo registration card will have instructions and the login credentials necessary to book your

grad photo appointment - YOU must book your appointment before March 3

◈ TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR CARD in case you lose it

◈ You must pay online when you book your appointment; your photo sitting fee includes a grad

composite folder (pic of all graduates)

◈ IB students have the option to get an IB composite for an additional charge

◈ No photos with friends are permitted
