Greeting and Ministry Updates Call to Worship Our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth! Amen!
The Spirit is moving us, To care for the world God has given us, as stewards of God’s gifts. The Spirit is moving us, To follow Christ’s call to love our neighbors as ourselves. The Spirit is moving us, To boldly proclaim God’s reign of justice and peace. The Spirit is moving us now, in this time of worship: May we be filled with the Holy Spirit, for the holy work of God.

Call to Confession Unison Prayer of Confession
Holy One, we confess that we have failed to care for the gifts You have given us. We’ve consumed more than we need and misused the resources entrusted to us for generations. We’ve failed to love our neighbors as ourselves, when love is the greatest gift from You. At times, we have denied our gifts, refused to believe we have anything of use. Forgive us, O God, and call us into accountability. Forgive us, O God, and restore our faith and spirit. Forgive us, O God, and lead us into mutual responsibility to care for all You have given us. In the name of Christ we pray...
Third Sunday After Pentecost The liturgical color today is green representing the growth and mission of the church!

Response ‘Love’ Traditional
Love, love, love, love; Christians, this is your call
Love your neighbor as yourself, for God loves us all
Words of Assurance and Hope Friends, call to mind what God has done for you; think about how
God's love comes in fresh and surprising ways; reflect on the fruit
of the Spirit poured out upon you.
We will remember all the wonder, all the joy, all the mercy which is
ours. From the rich abundance of the Spirit's fruit, we will serve
others. Thanks be to God! Amen.
Solo “Have Thine Own Way” Miller Andrew Neevel
Have thine own way, Lord. Search me and try me, Savior I pray
Mold me and make me after Thy will, while I am waiting, yielded and still
Have thine own way, Lord; wounded and weary, help me, I pray
Fill with Thy Spirit, till all shall see Christ only, always living in me
Children’s Message
* Hymn 589 ‘Lord, I Want to Be A Christian’ Spiritual
“ ...To Hear God’s Word…”
Scripture Galatians 5: 1, 13 - 25 Page 1062
Message: “Freely Love!”

* Benediction
… Depart in peace
“...And Respond with Gratitude!”
Offering Offertory “We Can Be Kind” Friedman
Sara Neevel
So many things we can't control, so many hurts that happen everyday
So many heartaches that pierce the soul
So much pain that won't ever go away
How do we make it better? How do we make it through?
What can we do, when there's nothing we can do?
We can be kind, we can take care of each other
We can remember that deep down inside we all need the same things
And maybe we'll find, if we are there for each other
That together we'll weather whatever tomorrow may bring
Nobody really wants to fight, nobody really wants to go to war
If everyone wants to make things right, what are we always fighting for?
Does nobody want to see it? Does nobody understand?
The power to heal is right here in our hand
And it's not enough to talk about it, not enough to sing a song
We must walk the walk about it; you and I, do or die
We've got to try to get along
And maybe we'll find true peace of mind
If we always remember--we can be kind
* Doxology
