ST. THOMAS AQUINAS THRIFT STORE – CLEARANCE EVENT SATURDAY, AUGUST 8 9AM to 3PM
Last weekend I made the announcement that the St. Thomas Aquinas Thrift Store is closing permanent-ly. This weekend I’m asking you for your help as we prepare to turn the retail space back over to the owners. On Saturday, August 8, we will open the doors of the thrift store to the public one last time for a Donation-Only Inventory Clearance Event. Please think about stopping by sometime between 9AM and 3PM to carry away a few memories and to help us in the considerable task of distributing our remaining inventory. Please be sure to bring a mask and be prepared to social distance. I thank you in advance for your help.

El fin de semana pasado hice el anuncio de que la tienda de segunda mano de Santo Tomás de Aquino está cerrando permanentemente. Este fin de semana te pido tu ayuda mientras nos preparamos para devolver el espacio de venta al dueño. El sábado 8 de agosto, abriremos las puertas de la tienda de segunda mano al público una última vez para un evento de limpieza de inventario solo para donaciones. Por favor, piense en pasar por algún momento entre las 9AM y las 3PM para llevar algunos recuerdos y ayudarnos en la considerable tarea de distribuir nuestro inventario restante. Por favor, asegúrese de traer una máscara y estar preparado a la distancia social. Le agradezco de antemano su ayuda.

A MESSAGE FROM THE FESTIVAL COMMITTEE The committee was busy planning for our Spring Festival and then the pandemic hit. Festival raffle tickets were sent out and many parishioners had sent in donations. Most have been contacted and were offered refunds. Not many took up the offer. Thank you to the parishioners who made the contribution to the church. Also letters had been sent out to possible sponsors. Some sponsors are businesses and some are individuals. Money had been received from many sponsors.. Again they were asked if refunds were desired and most said keep the contribution. UN MENSAJE DEL COMITÉ DEL FESTIVAL El comité estaba ocupado planeando para nuestro Festival de Primavera y luego el éxito de la pandemia.
