Are you unable to move forward in your relationship with Christ? Do you feel you are carrying the “baggage” of your past? Do you feel hopeless or unable to stop the cycle of sin in your life? Unbound is a non-confrontational deliverance ministry designed to use five simple keys to help you regain your freedom in Christ:
1. Repent and believe 2. Forgive 3. Renounce 4. Take back authority 5. Receive the Father’s blessing Come to a morning of instruction and information on this dynamic new ministry. We are offering this ministry on first Wednesdays of the month from 7:30AM-9:30AM and last Saturday of the month from 11:00AM-1:00PM. Kay Cogswell is the contact person in order to schedule an appointment. Her cell is 760- 420-2002.
“I was healed of my depression following my first session" And...
“I am able to forgive for the first time.”
These are true statements made by some of the people who have been ministered to.
UNBOUND Helping Others To Find Freedom in CHRIST
Saint of the Day John Bosco’s theory of education could well be used in today’s schools. It was a preventive system, rejecting corporal punishment and placing students in surroundings removed from the likelihood of committing sin. He advocated frequent reception of the sacraments of Penance and Holy Communion. He combined catechetical training and fatherly guidance, seeking to unite the spiritual life with one’s work, study and play. Encouraged during his youth to become a priest so he could work with young boys, John was ordained in 1841. His service to young people started when he met a poor orphan and . After serving as chaplain in a hospice for working girls, John opened the Oratory of St. Francis de Sales for boys. Several wealthy and powerful patrons contributed money, enabling him to provide two workshops for boys, shoemaking and tailoring. By 1856 the institution had grown to 150 boys and had added a printing press for publication of religious and catechetical pamphlets. His interest in vocational education and publishing justify him as patron of young apprentices and Catholic publisher. By 1856, the institution had grown to 150 boys and had added a printing press for publication of religious and catechetical pamphlets.
His interest in vocational education and publishing justify him as patron of young apprentices and Catholic publishers. John’s preaching fame spread and by 1850 he had trained his own helpers because of difficulties in retaining young priests. In 1854 he and his followers informally banded together, inspired by St. Francis de Sales [January 24]. With Pope Pius IX’s encouragement, John gathered 17 men and founded the Salesians in 1859. Their activity concentrated on education and mission work. Later, he organized a group of Salesian Sisters to assist girls. Comments: John Bosco educated the whole body and soul united. He believed that Christ’s love and our faith in the at love should pervade everything we do- work, study, play. For Joh Bosco, being a Christian was a full time effort, not a once-a-week, Mass-on-Sunday experience. It is searching and finding God and Jesus in everything we do, letting their love lead us. Yet because John realized the importance of job-training and the self-worth and pride that come with talent and ability, he trained his students in the trade crafts, too “Every education teaches a philosophy; if not by dogma then by suggestion, by implication, by atmosphere. Every part of that education has a connection with every other part. If it does not all combine to convey some general view of life, it is not education at all” (G.K. Chesterton, The Common Man).

Serra Daily Prayer for priestly and religious vocations: Jesus, Lord of the harvest, Look with love on this portion of your vineyard. Bless the Diocese of San Diego with more priests to shepherd your people, Priests with hearts like your own. Mary, Mother of the Church, pray for us. Pray for Priests and Vocations “Now we ask you to respect those who work hard among you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work.” (1 Thess. 5:12, 13, NIV) When we pray for vocations for the priesthood, diaconate and religious, we actually pray for ourselves, since holy priests, deacons and religious should result in a holier people. When we pray for these servants of Christ, we also win the favor of Christ, for we, in so praying, are furthering His work. By praying for vocations we are help-ing our children and our children's children because we are using a meritorious means of preserving our faith for them. “Now we ask you to respect those who work hard among you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work.” (1 Thess. 5:12, 13, NIV)

Year of Mercy Prayer : Lord Jesus Christ, You have taught us to be merciful like the heavenly Father, and have told us that whoever sees you sees Him. Show us your face and we will be saved. Your loving gaze freed Zacchaeus and Matthew from being enslaved by money; the adulteress and Magdalene from seeking
happiness only in created things; made Peter weep after his betrayal, and assured Paradise to the repentant thief. Let us hear, as if addressed to each one of us, the words that you spoke to the Samaritan woman: “If you knew the gift of God!” You are the visible face of the invisible Father, of the God who manifests his pow-er above all by forgiveness and mercy: let the Church be your visible face in the world, its Lord risen and glorified. You willed that your ministers would also be clothed in weakness in order that they may feel compassion for those in ignorance and error: let everyone who approaches them feel sought after, loved, and forgiven by God. Send Your Spirit And Consecrate Every One Of Us With Its Anointing. So The Jubilee of Mercy May Be A Year Of Grace From The Lord. And Your Church. With Renewed Enthusiasm, May We Bring Your Good News To The Poor. Pro-claim Liberty To Captives And The Oppressed, And Restore Sight To The Blind. We Ask This Through The Intercession Of Mary, Mother Of Mercy. You Who Live And Reign With The Father And The Holy Spirit For Ever And Ever. Amen
“A Time to Heal, to Help, to Forgive."
