• St. John said: “I indeed baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is better than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the HOLY SPIRIT and FIRE”

4) HOW important is Baptism?

• Our sins are washed away (white & pure)

• We become children of God

• The Holy Spirit dwells in us (to help, guide, comfort, enlighten …)

5) DO we still need to repent & confess after baptism?

• Yes, we have to always repent & confess

• To cleanse ourselves again from sins

• Keep your Baptismal “gown” white & pure
