Themed Enrichment WeeksPreschool through Fifth GradeAll students must be fully potty-trained by first day.

Geared towards younger students, this program allows children to experience a little bit of everything.Each week offers a new theme that will guide the curriculum in various classes such as science, drama,foreign language, history, and sports—just to name a few! Turn the page for more detailed informationand to see this year’s weekly themes.

HALFDAY (8:30 am-12:15 pm): $275/week FULL DAY (8:30 am-4:00 pm): $375/week

1st & 2nd Grade Specialty ProgramsDifferent programs every week! A step up from ourThemed Enrichment Weeks, these weeks are designedto enhance learning by focusing on a more specific topic through the lens of two or three clear subjects.Often merging STEM (ScienceTechnology, Engineering, Mathematics) and Fine Art ideals into onecohesive week, 1st & 2nd Graders get a chance to become well-rounded and diverse experts. See ourofferings on Pages 3.

FULLDAY (8:30 am-3:30 pm): $450/week

3rd-5th Grade Specialty ProgramsAppealing to our more senior students, these weeks will have a clear focus in either STEM or the FineArts. Each week offers two choices in how they would like to stretch their brain and work with theirpeers. These weeks are designed as an immersive experience and are led by passionate educators ineach field. Weeks detailed on Pages 4 and 5.

Offering varied experiences each day, these weeks are all about getting a littlebit of everything.

Students are broken into groups by age prior to their arrival and assigned aGroup Leader that will be their guide through the week’s adventures. Eachday has them traveling from class to class learning more about that week’stheme through geography lessons, storytelling games, science experiments,and a variety of other activities. There is also plenty of student guided freeplay both inside and outside with our array of water toys.

With Half-Day and Full-Day options, families can decide how muchstudents would like to experience each week. Whether this your first timehere with us or are returning year after year, this summer promises to offera unique and engaging experience.

All weeks are $275/week for half-day attendance or $375/week forfull-day attendance.

Students REQUIRED to be fully potty-trained by the start of their first week.

Mystery MansionJUNE 20-24: Halloween comes early as we employsome supernatural help in solving a daily mystery.

Creepy CrawliesJUNE 27-JULY 1: Join us as we learn about the ex-citing world happening right underneath our feet!

In the ArcadeJULY 5-8 (four-day week): Thisweekhas us trappedin the virtual world and only teamwork and creativity canget us out.

Our Own CityJULY 11-15: Inspired by the city around us, we’ll workto build and better our own made-up city.

The League of SuperheroesJULY 18-22: Calling all heroes! We’ll explore whatmakes a hero and join forces to battle evil.

Jet SettersJULY 25-29: Hop on the plane and journey with usto as many places as we can get to in one week!

Enter the CircusAUGUST 1-5: With animals, acrobatics, and fun, we’llwork together to create the greatest show on earth!

Sailing the Seven SeasAUGUST 8-12: We’ll encounter pirates, storms,and giant whales as we travel around the world in oursturdy ship.

TheMagical ZooAUGUST 15-19: Normal creatures aren’t a part of thiszoo; we’ll work at keeping our magical animals safe andsound.

Invent ItJUNE 20-24: Travel through time to see how great in-ventions got their start. Fromacting out historical events tore-building amazing inventions, students will be guided tolearn from the past and look to the future as they plot outan invention of their own.Guiding Subjects: History & Science

The Enchanted ForestJUNE 27-JULY 1: We're not venturing into your typ-ical forest this week. Although we’ll be exploring habi-tat, food sources, and survival for our animals, they’ll allhave a magical element we’ll get to invent ourselves.These topics will be explored through a mixture of sto-rytelling and science.Guiding Subjects: Drama & Science

TheMagic of ScienceJULY 5-8 (four-day week): What once was magic isnow our everyday science. Explore how we saw the scien-tific processes in the past and imagine what unexplained‘magic’wehave today andhow thatmight be explained inthe future! Experiments, games, andgroupworkwill guideour exploration.Guiding Subjects: Science & History

Journey Through TimeJULY 11-15: Time travel should be fun! Studentswork together to build and use their own imaginary timemachine as they travel to any and every time period theycan think of.Through drama and research, they’ll com-plete their time-traveling story by the end of the week.Guiding Subjects: History & Drama

Les Jeunes FrancophoneJULY 18-22: The places and cultures that speak theFrench language are diverse and interesting. It’s this factthat we’ll be taking advantage of this week. Students willlearn about the language and the many cultures that uti-lize it. Projects, games, and special guests will be the focusas we “parler français.”Guiding Subjects: French & Social Studies

Build ItJULY 25-29: Every great project has to be designed be-fore being built. Merging artistic design with practicalapplications, students will work to make somethingbeautiful that can help in their everyday life.Guiding Subjects: Art & Science

Minecraft ServerDesign with Youth DigitalCreate your own customMinecraft server. YouthDigital’smost awaited course guides kids to learn professional Javaprogramming as they design and build their own cus-tomized Minecraft server and share with friends.

Creative JuicesThis week will really get them flowing! Students will beled through a week filled to the brim with creative exer-cises and activities that will activate their brains and leadto amazing works of art. Whether they want to write,act, paint, draw, or compose music, this week offers thespace to create.

JUNE 27-JULY 1

3D Game Designwith Youth DigitalIn this interactive online course students learn the basics of3D video game design including models, textures, vol-umes, lighting, and more. Students will create their ownamazing 3D world from start to finish.

Under the Big TopWhat would your ideal circus look like?This week startswith that question and who knows where we’ll end up?Work as a team to research, design, and show off yourvery own circus. Guided by the students interests andabilities, this circus will showcase the very best of allthey have to offer.

JULY 5-8 (FOUR-DAY WEEK)

Solving the CasePart Murder Mystery Theater and part Spy 101, stu-dents will have to work together to gather clues, inter-rogate suspects, and break the case wide open before theweek is up. If you think your child is up to the challenge,join us for a puzzle filled and always shifting week.

Philly ProudInspired simply and amazingly by the city we live in,students will gather to learn the history, culture, andhidden gems of Philadelphia. They’ll spend the weekworking on a project of their choosing that showcasestheir knowledge and pride in theCity of Brotherly Love.

JULY 11-15

3D Game Designwith Youth DigitalSee description from week of June 27-July 1.

The Artist’s LifeIs your student ready to share their art with the world? Ifso, they’ll want to explore how it’s done with some greatartists doing just that.Designed to offer some initial toolsin effectively making your art your career, students willengage in activities and discussion about what that reallymeans.

RoboticsStudents will spend a week utilizing LEGO MindstormNXT andEV3models to work together on various proj-ects and competitions. They’ll design, build, program,and test their robots as well as learn what might be nextin the world of robotics.

Save the DayProblem solving always looksmore fun in a cape. In orderto solve some our pressing problems, students will haveto band together in creating some superheroes the worldis truly in need of. Built around imaginative, but appli-cation-focused problem solving, this week promises toinspire.

JULY 25-29

AWeek withJacques CousteauDive to the depths of the ocean this week. Devotedwholly to ocean exploration andmarine biology, studentswill immerse themselves in a week of activities and ex-periments that will work to open up themystery of whatreally lies beneath.

Exploring ComedyWhat makes something funny? If your child is interestedin ‘hamming’ it up and understanding how to get thelaugh, this week is just for them. Led by Philly comedyprofessionals, they’ll be sure to come awaywith skills to getthe whole room laughing.

AUGUST 1-5

Space ColonyBlast into a week filled with exploration. Students willreach to the far corners of space and guide the construc-tion of a habitat that could support human life. They’lllearn just what’s out there and what it would take to sus-tain the human race.

Budding EntrepreneursDuring this week, students will begin building the skillsin planning and implementing their ownbusiness.They’llwork through scenarios with some established entrepre-neurs to gain insight in what it takes to make it all work.
