A note from Fr. Tony Since the holiday season has ended, it is time for us to get back to work in regards to pastoral planning for these four parishes. As I mentioned in a homily back in December, the pastoral councils of these parishes will continue to plan for our future. As was reiterated in that talk, the long term plan is that these parishes will be served by one priest. We must work together as one because we are of one faith and we all face similar challenges. The first project is to set a weekend Mass schedule that will work best for all four parishes. I mentioned that all the proposed schedules will be made known and that the pastoral council members will be seeking feedback on the proposed schedules. Copies of the proposed schedules are available at the parish offices and church entrances. Please take a look at it and feel free to offer your feedback to Fr. Kevin, to your pastoral council members, or to me by February 6th. There are many other items that we also have to address and we will keep you informed. Please keep these parishes and the pastoral and finance councils in your prayers so that we can be open to God’s will and do what is best for the Catholic parishes of Franklin and Hardin counties. Have a great week!
