Mass Intentions June 16 — 24

Church painting project We are starting our new project to refresh the interior of our church. Beginning June 19th and through July 20th, the church will be closed during the week with daily Masses in Healy Hall.

St. Joseph, guardian of Jesus and chaste husband of Mary,

you passed your life in loving fulfillment of duty. You supported the holy family of Nazareth

with the work of your hands. Kindly protect those who trustingly come to you.

You know their aspirations, their hardships, their hopes.

They look to you because they know you will understand and protect them.

You too knew trial, labor and weariness. But amid the worries of material life

your soul was full of deep peace and sang out in true joy

through intimacy with God's Son entrusted to you and with Mary, his tender Mother.

Assure those you protect that they do not labor alone. Teach them to find Jesus near them

and to watch over him faithfully as you have done. Pope John XXIII

Father Joe Eagan is back!

Tuesday, June 26th, at 7:00 pm St. Anselm's Centennial Hall

97 Shady Lane, Ross Fr. Eagan will be giving a program on Ross Douthat’s controversial new book on Pope Francis: “To Change the Church: Pope Francis and the Future of Catholicism.” Douthat is critical of the Pope, and has gone so far as to suggest Pope Francis may cause a schism in the Church between liberal and conservative wings. This should make for a lively discussion.
