22) Homework Procedures
Research is an integeral part of LCVP and forms part of the homework
Students are given topics to research and record in copies
Topics are dicussed in class and questions are answered for homework
Passed papers are used as a tool for answering question for homework.
23) Assessment Procedures
All students are assessed regulary during the school year.
Portfolio work is assessed by the Teacher on completion and prior to final editing by the students.
Assessments are completed at mid tern October, Christmas, Easter and in summer of 4th Year.
In addition a Pre Leaving Cert Link Modules Exam is arranged in February of each year for the Leaving
Cert Exam Students.
24) Record – Keeping Procedures.
All students portfolio work is stored on central servers.
25) Reporting Procedures.
Class issues are dealt with by the class teachers, or referred to the Class Tutor.
Issues may be referred to the Year Head / Subject Co-ordinator/ Deputy or Principal as warrented.
The Programme Co-ordinator may escalate issues to the Deputy or Principal.
The Programme Co-ordinator updates the Principal as the year progresses.
The programme Co-ordinator reports to the Board of Management on an annual basis.

A whole-school evaluation of management, leadership and learning (WSE-MLL) was
undertaken in May 2011 in St. Nathy's College.
It was recommended to provide an ab -initio language module to meet the requirements of the LCVP link Module course for students not studing a foreign language for the Leaving Cert
In the 2012/2013 an ab-initio language module has been included on the
timetable to meet the requirements of the LCVP, all students doing LCVP
has access to this module. (This same applied for 2011/2012)

30. Numeracy & Literacy

language assocciated with LCVP Link Modules.
This will be achieved by compiling a list of terms and words and explaining same.
