ALBANY NY CHAPTER OF MAGNIFICAT (a Ministry to Catholic Women) is hosting its first in-person event since November 2019. Join us for a Women’s PILGRIMAGE on Saturday, September 11th from 11:00am – 2:00pm at Our Lady of Martyrs Shrine, 136 Shrine Road, Fultonville, NY. We will gather at 10:30 am by the Coliseum for this day of spiritual renewal on Holy Ground where Sts. Isaac Jogues, Rene Goupil and Jean de Lalande were martyred and the birthplace of St. Kateri Tekakwitha. The day includes Mass, Rosary, lunch (bring a bag lunch and beverages), Praise & Worship, a Reflection by Fran Schmidt – topic: “New Beginnings” (Honoring those who died and survived 9/11”). BASKET BINGO PARTY: St. Michael's Rosary Society is hosting its 6th annual Basket Bingo Party on Sunday, No-vember 7th here at St. Michael's. Instead of winning a cash

prize when you get a bingo, you win one of our beautiful baskets. Like all parish events we need your support to make the Basket Bingo a suc-cess. We are looking for donations of prize bas-kets and gift cards. We will also accept cash

donations. At the Basket Bingo Party there will be food, snacks and drinks available. We also need donations of cookies, cupcakes, and brownies on the day of the party. So if you are a baker, can you help us? REGISTRATION Registration for Faith Formation classes for the school year 2021-2022 at St. Michael's continues... Please return completed registration forms as soon as possible as classes are now being set up. Parent information will be mailed out with schedules, you can also visit our website to view schedules.

FAITH FORMATION IMPORTANT DATES Wednesday, September 15, 2021 6pm for grades K – 5 7:15pm for grades 6-10. Opening night with ice cream social. Students arrive at the church hall, we celebrate with ice cream, students are paired up with their teacher and brought to the appropriate classroom. Every other class night they will enter the parish center and go to their class. A volunteer will be placed in the parking lot and inside the parish center to direct the children to their classrooms. Sunday, September 19, 2021 9am Mass: We will celebrate our teachers and volunteers on Catechetical Sunday. The theme is: “Say the Word and My Soul Shall be Healed”. Each catechist and volunteer receives a certificate. There is a specific blessing and general intentions. Monday, September 27, 2021 6pm: Monday night classes begin. Class will run from 6pm to 8pm on the last Monday of each month, unless otherwise stated on the schedule. Children's Liturgy of the Word: Will return on Sunday, October 10th at 9am Mass and be celebrated every second Sunday of the month until the end of the school year. Older students will participate by lectoring and bringing up the gifts. This coincides with the social hour after the 9am Mass. Wednesday, September 29,2021 6pm Mass: Feast day of St. Michael. All students, grades K – 10 will attend Mass at 6pm. Parents are encouraged to participate. This Mass is for ALL parishioners who would like to attend.

SOUPER SATURDAY MOVIE NIGHT RETURNS! On Saturday, October 16th we will have soup and movie night. The movie will begin shortly after 4pm Mass. We will be viewing “Altaration, The Mystery of The Mass Revealed”. Hosted by Father Mike Schmitz, he answers the question “Why do we do that at Mass?” Soup, bread, dessert, beverages, popcorn and doorprizes! This is a free event and appropriate for all ages.
